A native from Paris, France Jenny Rieu is a performer, actress and
vintage enthusiast. She started out as an Opera singer at age 13 and
made her TV Debut in 2001 on the French Cable Network's,"FunTV" hosting
her own show,"The CastingLive." In 2008, she moved to New York to
pursue theater studies and graduated from the American Academy of
Dramatic Arts of New York in 2010. A month later, she moved to L.A and
was cast in my first play: "The Seven Deadly Sins." She created and
starred in her own Cabaret show, "The Lady In Red ". The show was a
tribute to old Hollywood songs, as well as Jazz Oldies, French Chanson
and Rock 'n' Roll tunes, ranging from the 1920s up to the 1960s.
It is through her Cabaret Show that her passion for vintage clothing really came to life. From there she did her first pinup photo shoot at Glamorama Studio, back in 2011. 3 years later she became the cover model for the Prequel of, "Pinup Alternative Magazine " that was launched at the Raw Artist LA show, on October 2nd, 2014 . And she is also on the Cover of Black Pinups Magazine Issue 6 2014 She recently shot a campaign for Pinup girl clothing.
In addition to acting and modeling, she is the lead singer of "Jenny and The Razors" a band she formed with her husband Jason Kamimura on June 2014 She also co-wrote the song: " Patisserie" for the award-winning documentary " Let Them Eat Cake."
