Joan Brown was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and is one of 5
children. She began her career starring in various plays at the Childrens Theatre as well as theater
plays throughout high school and college. With a few small roles in NC Joan decided
to move her career west. After moving to California, she began with a national commercial for TWC.
