Niall Matter was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is an actor and producer, known for The Predator (2018), Watchmen (2009) and Primeval: New World (2012). He has been married to Sara Bradley Matter since June 2016. They have two children.

He worked on the drilling rigs in northern Alberta for 8 years.

Niall still sees his old work buddies from his days shooting the television series Eureka, Colin Ferguson and Neil Grayston.

In 1999 he won &#39;Best Actor&#39; at the Alberta Provincial Drama Championships for his portrayal of Groucho Marx in &#39;A Night in the Ukraine&#39;.
