Ray Armando Morabito, formerly known professionally as R. Armando Morabito, is an American music producer, composer, and director based in Los Angeles, California. He was born in southern Asia in the early 1980s and was adopted and raised in northern Italy near Milan.
At the age of 24, upon completion of his Bachelor of Science degree in art, Ray moved to London, UK, to learn filmmaking, where he enrolled at the London Metropolitan University. In 2009, he completed his studies, obtained a Master's degree, and began his creative career in England directing commercials and promotional videos. While staying in London, he pursued his passion for music by occasionally scoring short films and documentaries.
In 2013, Ray relocated to the United States to pursue a full-time career in music production. While gaining significant popularity as an independent artist on YouTube and online music stores, his music has been licensed and featured in movie trailers, video game advertisements, and on major networks, both domestically and internationally, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, MTV, The CW, USA Network, National Geographic, and Discovery Channel.
