Affectionately known for having been the resident Gossip Guru for 8 years Channel Nine's TODAY show, Richard's been a daily fixture on Australian television. With his sassy shirts and contagious laugh, Richard soon hit prime-time: First, as the international style guru on the popular reality series Domestic Blitz; and then by bringing his banter to the boardroom in Celebrity Apprentice, leaving little doubt that he is a force to be reckoned with!
In 2019, when it came time to cast 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!', Network Ten executives felt it was finally time to throw Richard into the snake-pit, literally, by sending he and 13 other celebrities into the jungles of South Africa. Five weeks later, after surviving scorpions, spiders, snakes, crocodiles and electrocution, Richard defied the odds and was voted KING OF THE JUNGLE by his legion of devoted fans.
Richard began his career as an Entertainment reporter at Northwest News Channel in Seattle Washington. From there he made the leap to Los Angeles where he became an Entertainment Producer for Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, the E! series 'Celebrities Uncensored' and The Insider where he doubled as a weekend corespondent.
Richard is a contributing corespondent for STUDIO TEN and an Ambassador for Beyond Blue, a foundation focusing on mental wellness.
