One of the most popular alternative history regency romance series on Netflix is Bridgerton. Created by Chris Van Dusen and Jess Brownell, the series, set during the early 19th century, is an adaptation of the book series of the same name by Julia Quinn.

Bridgerton season 2, episode 6, "The Choice", features the long-awaited wedding between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) but Anthony's feelings for someone else can't be subdued for long. "The Choice" comes right off Bridgerton season 2, episode 5, "An Unthinkable Fate", often regarded as one of the best episodes of Bridgerton ever, meaning a lot was riding on this season 2, episode 6. A new crop of characters in Bridgerton season 2 has raised the stakes for everyone, but particularly for Anthony.

Since meeting the Sharma's in the season 2 premiere, Anthony has been taken by Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), the older half-sister to Edwina. However, Anthony ends up proposing to Edwina in season 2, episode 4, "Victory", because he specifically does not want to marry for love, seeing the heartbreak his father's death caused his mother. Instead, he wants someone to check all the boxes, a diamond as it were, which Edwina was named in the season premiere.

But the resulting conclusion of the investigation is somewhat different from what we expect. The 7th episode begins with a terrifying scene of a woman being dragged out of a car, leading up to her murder. The next thing we know, Edwina’s having to swerve the police car when a man appears with no warning from the woods. He’s completely out of it because his dog’s just found a body.

As Murder in a Small Town heads into its season finale, multiple murders have raised the stakes considerably.

It was truly terrifying seeing a woman get attacked and be forced to fight for her life in those opening seconds of Murder in a Small Town Season 1 Episode 7. That kept me on the edge of my seat as they started questioning suspects.

Nikhil Advani’s stunningly created Partition drama Freedom at Midnight goes really hard at fleshing out Gandhi, Nehru, Vallabhbhai Patel, and Muhammad Jinnah while telling a story that is known to everyone—at least in broad strokes. From beginning to end, the series manages to hold its audience. It is, of course, adapted from the very controversial book of the same name, by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins. Some of you might find Freedom at Midnight‘s ending a bit abrupt. In this article, we’re going to look into that and also discuss a bit about the possibility of this show getting another season.

Oh man, watching Murder in a Small Town nearly has me as dizzy as staring at the oscillation of a pendulum for too long. Even though the show’s returned after a long break, there’s one thing that seems to remain the same: the uncertainty of Cassandra and Karl’s relationship. I know it’s been a minute since we last saw the duo, but to get your memory jogging, Cassandra was abducted in the previous episode by a guy who wanted revenge on Karl. This of course leaves her with severe Ptsd and struggling to function normally. But what’s worse is that it has her pushing Karl away. On the other hand, episode 6 is focused on a psychological twist, but I guess the real “twist” is what happens at the end of the episode.
