You have to hand it to Donald Farmer, when the crowdfunding campaign for Bigfoot Exorcist raised just under $2,000 of the $10,000 budget he still got the film made and picked up by a distributor. Whether he should have is another question, and that’s what we’re going to find out.
The film opens with a woman her shirt ripped open so her bright red bra can blind the viewer, running for her life. She still has time to stop, so the camera can give us a shot of her breasts rising and falling in time to the soundtrack. She shouldn’t have done that because the mostly unseen creature chasing her catches up with her, disembowels her and rips her arm off.

Nestled at the foot of a large hill on the edge of downtown Providence, R.I., Cable Car Cinema was known to local moviegoers as ”the one with the couches.” That was a charitable description. They were love seats, really — perfect if you were with a date but awkward if you went to see a movie with a friend or found yourself seated next to a stranger.
Despite, or perhaps because of, its idiosyncratic seating, Cable Car inspired fierce devotion among its regulars, a collection of Brown and Rhode Island School of Design students, professors, artists and cinephiles.
“It was a place you went to commune with fellow movie lovers,” says Mike Ritz, a longtime patron. “You didn’t go there to see ‘Spider-Man.’ They played art films that challenged you, that provoked emotion, that made you think.”

If you are a fan of the '80s arcade scene, then Geeks, Girls, Fun and Ghouls is a must watch because it's so fantastically enjoyable! This is a grindhouse style pitch trailer for a retro gaming horror film that needs to exist. The concept comes from Steve Carino and Newt Wallen, and this trailer offers us a ridiculous and fun visual treat that immediately grabbed my attention. I know not everyone is going to dig this as much as I do, but I’m a fan of weird, strange, and wacky films, and that’s exactly what this is. It’s only a couple minutes long so make sure to check it out when you get a chance.
