Sharon Cohen was exposed to the world of performing arts at a very
early age and has continued in this tradition ever since. As the son of
a famous theatre actor and a world renowned pianist, Sharon drew
inspiration from close family friend Leonard Bernstein and other greats
such as Pavaroti, Stern and Mehta. Sharon has a unique background in
both classic and contemporary arts and has traveled the world gaining
exposure to different cultures and languages. He has worked as a
writer, actor and director for theatre, performed as a concert
saxophonist both for the Israeli Philharmonic and in award-winning
scores for Israeli cinema and theatre and traveled across Israel and
the U.S. performing as a magician. For the past 12 years, he has found
his niche as a writer, director and voice talent for feature film &
television dubbing. Sharon offers a fresh breath to the field of
dubbing in Israel. He has his finger on the pulse of Israeli life today
and strives to make authentic and edgy dubbed versions, representative
of real life and language. His long career entertaining children gives
him a keen insight into the largest audience for dubbed product in
Israel... kids! He continually calls upon his roots in the Israeli
acting community to develop new talent and identify new trends to
satisfy the scrutinizing adult audience, with a particular flair for
comedies and musicals.
