Quynh is a Canadian actor. She is in supporting lead roles in two short films having their world premieres at film festivals in November 2024: Easter Epic (2024), which recounts a Cambodian refugee family's working night which overlaps an iconic game during the 1987 Stanley Cup playoffs; and Different Kind of Sick (2024), which examines through a child's eyes, parents hiding the truth. Her parents are from Vietnam and resettled in Calgary, Canada, where they raised two children. She was employed in the telecommunications industry, before moving to Vancouver to train and work in acting. Her studies are ongoing; earlier training included Canada's National Voice Intensive, the Arts Club Actor's Intensive, and classes with Andrew McIlory. Quynh is also a devoted yogi and established yoga teacher. She is a longtime vegan. She resides in Vancouver with her partner of 17 years, Randy Volkart and their two rescue cats. She loves observing wildlife in their natural habitat, and has joyfully spent time watching sea otters, hoary marmots, and raccoons.
