At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – and the free movies we shared this week delivered thrills, action, and horror!

This week’s line-up consisted of the crime thriller Danny’s Game, the Western action movie The Price of Death, and the horror film An English Haunting. Here’s some information on each of them:

Directed by Bill Cooper from a screenplay by Joshua Ungaretti, Danny’s Game has the following synopsis: Danny Bishop is a gambling prodigy. After exiling himself to prison, he returns to his brothers home only to find himself back in the game because of a large debt for his protection in prison.

The first teaser trailer for Jitters, the latest film from British filmmaker Marc Zammit (Witch), has been released, offering a glimpse into what promises to be a haunting psychological thriller. Produced by Aptitude Films, the project is now nearing the end of production and has already generated considerable buzz for its ambitious take on fear, reality, and the unknown.

Jitters follows Detective Collymore, a single father grappling with a mysterious death that defies explanation. Though the case appears routine at first glance, Collymore’s suspicions pull him into a terrifying realm where nothing is as it seems. The deeper he delves, the more he questions his own perceptions, as a sinister force embodied by the chilling Jitters (Daniel Jordan) twists his investigation into a surreal and nightmarish odyssey.

The film also features Anto Sharp (The Dare) as Collymore’s partner, Detective Harding, with Boo Miller, Jess Impiazzi, and Lauren Budd rounding out the cast.

Tyler-James stays busy – so busy, it seems like the saying “Another week, another Tyler-James project” might soon be accurate. We’ve heard about multiple Tyler-James movies recently, as the filmmaker has produced the films that turn the popular nursery rhymes Mary Had a Little Lamb and Three Blind Mice into horror stories, and directed both The Loch Ness Horror and Monsternado. Update: Film producer Dillon Jordan was sentenced in New York City today to the maximum of five years in prison for running a high-end prostitution ring. He was sentenced in New York for providing women to clients and organizing sex parties in the US and abroad.

Jordan, of Lake Arrowhead, California, ran the ring for seven years. Manhattan. U.S. District Judge John P. Cronan said he would have imposed a longer prison sentence if he had the authority to do so.

Jordan pleaded guilty to a conspiracy count and five years was the maximum sentence available.

Earlier: Dillon Jordan, the backer of the 2018 Maggie Gyllenhaal drama The Kindergarten Teacher (which won a directing award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival), pled guilty today to conspiracy to violate the Mann Act for his operation of an interstate prostitution business.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 12, 2022. Jordan allegedly ran the ring with the help of a British madam.

Dillon Jordan, a producer on projects including Netflix movie The Kindergarten Teacher and A24 film Skin, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to operate an international prostitution ring. He used his production company, PaperChase Films, as a front for the operation, said federal prosecutors in an announcement.

Jordan, 50, of Arrowhead Lake, California, on Thursday in New York federal court pleaded guilty to a count of conspiracy to violate the Mann Act, a federal law prohibiting transportation of people across state lines to engage in illegal sexual activity. Under the plea agreement, three lesser charges of enticement, use of interstate commerce to promote unlawful activity and money laundering were dismissed. He faces up to five years in prison. He will also forfeit 1.4 million in ill-gotten gains.
