Music icon Lana Del Rey is officially a married woman!

The acclaimed singer-songwriter has reportedly tied the knot with Jeremy Dufrene, an alligator tour guide whom she met during a trip to Louisiana.

Several outlets reported on Thursday that Lana and Jeremy had obtained a marriage license.

Highlights from the latest drop of Specials titles include Made in England: The Films of Powell and Pressburger, a feature documentary about influential British filmmakers Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger narrated by Killers of the Flower Moon filmmaker Martin Scorsese. The feature is directed by David Hinton and features rare archival material from the personal collections of Powell, Pressburger, and Scorsese.

Netflix has dropped its first key art and several new images for Supersex, the hotly anticipated biographical series on Italian porn star Rocco Siffredi.

Alessandro Borghi, star of Netflix’s mafia drama series Suburra and 2022 Cannes jury prize winner The Eight Mountains, plays Rocco in the fictionalized take on the porn actor’s life. The seven-episode series — created and written by Francesca Manieri, Lorenzo Mieli for Fremantle-owned The Apartment and Matteo Rovere for Banijay’s Groenlandia — will bow on Netflix worldwide March 6, 2024. Rovere, Francesco Carrozzini and Francesca Mazzoleni are directing.

Netflix has said the series is “freely inspired” by Siffredi’s life and career, as well as from direct testimony from Siffredi. Supersex plans to tell the soup-to-nuts story of Rocco from his childhood and family origins through his “relationship with love” that led him to pursue a career in porn.

Netflix has set a March 6 premiere date for “Supersex,” the series freely inspired by the real life of global porn star Rocco Siffredi, who has more than 1,500 hardcore films to his name.

The series is created and written by prominent Italian screenwriter Francesca Manieri who is known to be a militant feminist. It is described in promotional materials as a profound story that runs through Siffredi’s life since childhood and looks at his family, “his relationship with love” and how “Rocco Tano — a simple guy from Ortona [a small town in central Italy] — became Rocco Siffredi, the most famous pornstar in the world.”

Fashionable seems to be written in the Wintour DNA – Anna Wintour and her daughter, Bee Carrozzini, showed off their high sense of fashion at the 76th annual Tony Awards on Sunday night.

The Vogue editor wore a shimmering gold Valentino dress and paired them with gold heels. To complete her look, she wore her iconic sunglasses.

Carrozzini, on the other hand, looked every bit as fashionable as her mother in a velvet olive green dress by Dior.

Lana Del Rey has taken petty to the next level after the singer revealed she put up just one billboard to promote her new album… in her ex-boyfriend’s hometown.

Earlier this month, the “Video Games” singer announced her ninth studio album, titled Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, will be dropping on 10 March 2023. Along with the announcement, Del Rey released the album’s title track.

The life of global porn icon Rocco Siffredi is the subject of a new Netflix original series titled ‘Supersex’, which has started shooting in Rome.

The seven-episode drama is freely inspired by the real life of Siffredi, who has more than 1,500 hardcore films to his name. But, in an interesting career twist, Siffredi has also shot two arthouse pics, Catherine Breillat’s ‘Romance’ and ‘Anatomy of Hell’. His Budapest-based Rocco Siffredi Prods. is a porn industry powerhouse.

Siffredi was also the subject of the documentary ‘Rocco’, directed by French duo Thierry Demaiziere and Alban Teurlai, which screened at the 2016 Venice Film Festival.

Netflix has unwrapped its latest Italian series, Supersex.

Produced by Fremantle producer The Apartment and Banijay-owned Groenlandia, it is inspired by the real life of European pornstar Rocco Siffredi. The seven-episode show will be available on Netflix globally in 2023.

Here’s the synopsis: “At the center of the story are unpublished aspects of the pornstar, a profound story that runs through his life since childhood. His family, his origins, his relationship with love, the starting point and the context that led him to embark on his path in pornography.”

Alessandro Borghi will play Rocco Siffredi, and also stars Jasmine Trinca, Adriano Giannini and Saul Nanni in the roles of Lucia, Tommaso and Rocco as a young man, respectively.

Francesca Manieri is creator and writer, with Matteo Rovere, Francesco Carrozzini and Francesca Mazzoleni the directors.

A reformed criminal goes on the run in The Hanging Sun, an adaptation of Jo Nesbo’s novel Midnight Sun. The author also co-writes the screenplay of this fiction feature debut from Francesco Carrozzini, the photographer who helmed the documentary Franca: Chaos and Creation. The closing film of Venice Film Festival, it’s well performed and gripping enough, though geographically confusing.

Filmed in northern Norway, where the novel is set, it stars an international cast, all speaking English with a variety of accents. Given that the conceit of the book revolves around 24-hour daylight at a certain time of year, the location is an honorable gesture, and handsomely filmed. But it’s hard to accept this as Nordic noir given the language and casting.

Italian actor Alessandro Borghi stars as John, a hitman who was adopted as a child and trained by a ruthless criminal, whose biological son (Frederick Schmidt) resents John. Their feud has come to a head now that John is trying to escape a life of crime, so he hides out in a remote religious community and meets Lea (Jessica Brown Findlay), the victim of an abusive husband (Sam Spruell).

With strong, understated performances from Borghi and Findlay, the unspoken attraction between John and Lea helps to keep the attention, as do the dramatic plot points, from suspicious deaths to chase scenes.

There’s also a sweet bond between John and Lea’s son Caleb (Raphael Vicas), who has developed an unusual way of speaking to cover up a stammer.

But the dramas feel familiar, and archetypes such as the abused wife, the trained killer and the fire-and-brimstone priest (Charles Dance) aren’t fleshed out enough to feel fresh. The Hanging Sun is a workable and good-looking thriller, but it stays on the surface rather than staying with you.

It’s kept deliberately vague where precisely Italian music-video director Francesco Carrozzini has set his feature debut, an adaption of the Jo Nesbø bestseller novel “Midnight Sun,” which closed a prestige-laden Venice Film Festival on an improbable note. One leans toward, maybe, Norway? But it could be Iceland or Greenland or any one of those far-flung, fjordy locales that usually turn out to belong to Denmark. It’s not like the language cues help: The dialogue is in English and the grand, windswept coastal landscapes are carefully scrubbed of signage that might, by so much as a single ‘ø,’ betray their provenance.

Italian actor and director Valeria Golino is set to make her debut as a TV series director with “The Art of Joy,” an erotically charged female empowerment drama set in early 20th-century Sicily and produced by Sky Studios.

Golino’s high-end period skein about a Sicilian young woman named Modesta, born into an impoverished family in early 1900 and driven by a strong belief that she’s destined for a better life, was announced during a Sky Italy presentation in Rome where the pay-tv operator unveiled its upcoming lineup of 60 Italian originals – series and films – for 2022, most of which have been already announced.

Peter Mullan and Charles Dance have joined the cast of “The Hanging Sun,” based on Jo Nesbø’s bestselling novel “Midnight Sun.”

Frederick Schmidt (“Angel Has Fallen”) and Raphael Vicas (“Grantchester”) are also boarding the production.

The Sky Original film is a U.K.-Italian co-production from Sky, ITV Studios’ Cattleya and Groenlandia. It will be broadcast on Sky in Italy, the U.K., Ireland, Germany and Austria.

The adaptation is written by Stefano Bises and directed by Emmy-nominated Francesco Carrozzini (“Franca: Chaos and Creation”).

The Venice Film Festival is adding documentary Inferno Rosso. Joe D’Amato Sulla Via Delle Eccesso, about the Italian filmmaker best known for his horror, erotic and adult films. Manlio Gomarasca and Massimiliano Zanin have directed the film, which will be presented by Nicolas Winding Refn. Aristide Massaccesi, better known as Joe D’Amato, made dozens of films under numerous pseudonyms, including more than 100 adult movies. This year’s 38th Jerusalem Film Festival will host a tribute to iconic Israeli company Cannon Films and producers Yoram Globus and Menachem Golan, curated in collaboration with Quentin Tarantino. The Cannon Film Group produced and distributed films from 1967 to 1993. In ’79 the company was purchased by producer Globus and Golan, who tailored its production slate through the ‘80s, focusing heavily on action films. Along the way Cannon became one of the world’s leading independent production companies.

Jerusalem’s tribute will include eight films produced by the company, presented in 35mm. On Aug. 26, Tarantino will head a panel discussion about the history of Cannon Films ahead of screenings of “The Ambassador” (1984) and a double feature of “Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects” (1989) and “The Naked Cage” (1986). Other titles screening in the program include “The Delta Force” (1986), “Death Wish 4” (1987) and “10 to Midnight” (1983).

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, 67, became a grandmother this week when her son, Charles Shaffer, welcomed a beautiful little girl with his wife, Lizzy Shaffer. The new mom took to Instagram to share a photo of the adorable newborn.

“Welcome Home Baby Caroline. Born 3/28/17 6lbs 14oz,” Lizzy captioned the sweet picture.

The Vogue editor-in-chief’s son Charles Shaffer and his wife, Lizzy, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Tuesday, March 28, the new mom announced Friday on social media.

Daughter Caroline Shafffer weighed 6 lbs., 14 oz.

“Welcome Home Baby Caroline,” Lizzy captioned a photo of their new baby girl on Instagram.

Shaffer and Lizzy wed in June 2014 at Wintour’s home in Mastic, New York. The couple met while attending Oxford University, according to their New York Times wedding announcement.

Is there a best picture winner in the bunch? The Venice Film Festival has unveiled its 2016 lineup, including both in competition and out of competition offerings, and with the festival’s strong track record of debuting recent best picture winners — from “Spotlight” to “Birdman” — there might be another big winner among the slate’s ranks.

As had been previously announced, the festival will open with Damien Chazelle’s “La La Land,” which will later hit Toronto (and, presumably, also Telluride). The festival will close with Antoine Fuqua’s “The Magnificent Seven,” which kicks off its own festival run days earlier, when it will open Tiff.

Cinetic’s international sales division led by new arrival Jason Ishikawa has launched sales in Cannes on Lisa Immordino Vreeland’s upcoming Love Cecil.

Roghts have gone to Studiocanal for the UK and Germany on the project, which presents a portrait of famed photographer and Oscar-winning costume designer Cecil Beaton, who shot iconic images of celebrities and also won two Oscars for costume and set design.

Cinetic is also handling world rights on a documentary in post about Franca Sozzani, the famed editor of Vogue Italia. Francesco Carrozzini directs and Amy Berg produces.

Cinetic is screening two Tribeca documentaries: Obit, directed by Vanessa Gould, and Betting On Zero, directed by Ted Braun. Cinetic said Us buyers were in talks on both titles.

The Us sales division is handling Below Her Mouth, which Elle Driver sells internationally and screens in the market.
