She speaks Spanish fluently and has a very good command of French and Italian.

She read a BA Honours Degree in European Studies with Spanish and French at the University of Ulster, graduating with a 2:1. She read a Master's Degree in European Political Administration at the College of Europe in Brugge, Belgium. After graduating, she commenced a prestigious internship at the Secretariat General of the European Commission in Brussels.

She attended Richmond Lodge Prep School and Methodist College Belfast.

She trained at the Guildford School of Acting and the Irish Film Actors Studio.
