Performance has always been at the heart of Alina's journey. Born in Riga, Latvia, she was immersed in the discipline of ballet from a young age, which led her to the U.S. to further her training. However, her artistic calling expanded, and at 17, she moved to California to pursue acting, embracing the stage and screen as new avenues for expression.
She has brought her presence to television in Shameless, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, and Worst Cooks in America, as well as to the stage in Hercules Furens, Lysistrata Unbound, Ajax in Iraq, Nosferatu: Symphony in Terror, and Superhero and His Charming Wife.
Her career is a fusion of movement and music-she has sung backup for Gnarls Barkley at the Grammys and contributed vocals to George Clinton's album. Her work in motion capture includes beloved characters in Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas", and Quantum Ray. She has also shared her choreographic talents on the TV series Everybody Hates Chris.
Whether through dance, voice, or performance, Alina continues to shape stories with grace, passion, and depth.
