Tom was born in Pittsburgh, PA but has lived all over the Midwestern
United States. He spent the majority of his formative years in a small
suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. He first fell in love with acting when he
performed in a community theatre production of The Music Man the summer
after he completed the sixth grade. He instantly fell in love with the
lights, sounds and excitement of live musical theatre. From there he
began taking acting, dance, and singing classes as well attending
acting camps during the summer. Some of the highlights of his youth
include performing with the professional acting group, Cincinnati
Children's Theatre where he acted, sang and even learned ballet and tap
dancing. He also appeared in both Faust and Aida for Cincinnati Opera.
He accomplished this before starting high school. In high school he
began studying privately with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company founding
member and highly acclaimed actor Nick Rose. He studied with him for
four years as well as Chris Guthrie, another Cincinnati Shakespeare
actor. He owes much of his development as an actor to these mentors. At
this time he also discovered his love for stunts and action work. He
trained for six years under Gina Cerimele-Mechley in stage combat and
became an Actor/Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors.
His tests were adjudicated by then-President, Chuck Coil. He attended
college at Miami University where he appeared in a few shows for their
theatre department. it was at this time he began working with a
student-fun filmmaking group and discovered his love for filmmaking.
Since then he has appeared in several films, web-series, and other
projects. He continues to work as a professional actor in Los Angeles,
CA.
