Ben Platt and Noah Galvin have tied the knot!
The Broadway actors first started dating in January 2020 and they got engaged in November 2022. The couple got married during Labor Day Weekend in New York City.
The wedding weekend began with a Friday night Shabbat welcome dinner and a game night on Saturday, followed by the wedding ceremony on Sunday.
“Since some of Ben’s family are observant Jews, we couldn’t get married until Sunday when Shabbat was over, so to keep the party going we had a bar hang with some games and Lombardi’s pizza on Saturday night at Cellar Dog in the West Village,” Noah told Vogue.
Ben added, “Finally, on Sunday, we had the wedding proper at Pioneer Works in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Noah was sad that nobody used the Ikea ferry to get there…”
An after party was held at Sunny’s Bar, where guests...

"There's not really anybody else that I'm close to..." Samuel Goldwyn Films has unveiled an official trailer for an indie drama titled Blame, the feature directorial debut of young 22-year-old filmmaker Quinn Shepard. The film is about a drama teacher's taboo relationship with an unstable high school student, which strikes a nerve in her jealous classmate, sparking a vengeful chain of events. The film itself is based loosely on Arthur Miller's "The Crucible", which is also even specifically referenced within it as the play that the drama teacher chooses for their fall show. Quinn Shephard and Chris Messina star, along with Tate Donovan, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Tessa Albertson, Sarah Mezzanotte, and Nadia Alexander. This looks like a sultry drama with some great performances, dealing with the emotional turmoil of high school. Here's the first official trailer for Quinn Shepard's Blame, direct from Samuel Goldwyn's YouTube: When the girls'...

"My friend just got killed... You can't expect me just to sit around and not do anything about it!" Sony has debuted the first official trailer for a crime drama titled November Criminals, from the director of Anvil: The Story of Anvil and Hitchcock previously. Adapted from Sam Munson's novel of the same name, the story is about a high schooler who takes on his own investigation of a murder in Washington D.C. The film stars Ansel Elgort and Chloe Grace Moretz, along with Catherine Keener, David Strathairn, Cory Hardrict, Terry Kinney, Danny Flaherty, Victor Williams, and Tessa Albertson. Maybe it is just because I'm seeing Ansel Elgort once again, but this reminds me of so many other films recently, including Paper Towns and Netflix's "13 Reasons Why". Here's to hoping it's good, but I'm not entirely sure just yet. Here's the first official trailer for Sacha Gervasi's November Criminals,...

Ansel Elgort is riding the success of “Baby Driver” right into the fall, in which he stars opposite Chloë Grace Moretz in the indie murder mystery “November Criminals.” Based on the novel of the same name by Sam Munson, the film stars the two Ya favorites as a pair of college-bound friends who team up to try and solve the mysterious death of one of their classmates. Think “Brink” with a dash of romance and a bit more conventional.
“November Criminals” is directed by British journalist-turned-filmmaker Sacha Gervasi, best known for directing the documentary “Anvil! The Story of Anvil” and the Anthony Hopkins-starring “Hitchcock.” He’s currently in production on the HBO original movie My Dinner With Hervé, starring Jamie Dornan and Peter Dinklage. The supporting cast includes Tessa Albertson, Catherine Keener, and David Strathairn.

Two episodes were provided prior to broadcast.
In season 1, Younger only got better as it went along. The fusion between creator Darren Star’s bubbly vision of New York, Sutton Foster’s implacable charisma, and some mouth-covering gags only built and built the longer protagonist Liza (Foster) kept up the charade of being a 26-year-old publishing assistant (her real identity: a 40-year-old divorcée). The show’s glitzy charm is still readily available for fans planning to tune in to the second season premiere this month and, better yet, Star doesn’t rest on his laurels the second time around.
The show immediately ups the ante by bringing home Liza’s daughter Caitlin (Tessa Albertson) from her time abroad in India. She packs herself into Maggie’s (Debi Mazar) aggressively rustic Brooklyn loft, and there’s some fun tension between Liza’s internal battle of divulging every secret to her daughter...

Hilary Duff and Sutton Foster’s new show Younger premiered tonight on TVLand with back-to-back episodes, and millennials need to rejoice. Duff’s first big television return since her glorious Lizzie McGuire days isn’t just good: it’s absolutely delightful. If the show’s 20-minute pilot is any indication, Younger is a brisk, bubbly, and snappy dramedy filled with solid acting, glitzy story lines, and one very hot man. While it’s not innovative or groundbreaking by any means, Younger is positioning itself to be the perfect Tuesday night guilty pleasure. And with Pretty Little Liars getting ridiculous Af, we’re in desperate need of a new show. (Warning: spoilers ahead!)
The first episode introduces us to 40-year-old Liza (Foster), who is recently divorced and struggling to find a job in publishing — an industry she dominated before leaving to raise her daughter for 15 years. After a ridiculously sexy and...
