Jules Jones is musician, writer, and producer who has been working in film and video production from Los Angeles to Seattle to Poland for almost a decade. She has produced numerous commercial projects around the world for clients such as Dell Inc, music videos for Tim McGraw and Def Leppard, several feature films with stars such as Haley Joel Osment and Olympia Dukakis, reality tv programming, and various documentary projects.
In 2011, she co-wrote the romantic comedy Planet Single (Planeta Singli) for Gigant Films. Planet Single was the highest grossing Polish film of 2016 and won numerous awards at various festivals including the audience award at CinEast. In 2018 Jules co-wrote the sequels Planeta Singli 2 and 3 which shot back-to-back in Poland. Planeta Singli 2 was released theatrically in November, 2018 and became the 3rd highest grossing Polish film of that year, surpassing Hollywood blockbusters Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story at the Polish box office. Planet Single 3 was released in Feb 2019 and is currently the second highest grossing film at the Polish box office in 2019. Her latest co-writing credit, Mayday (starring Piotr Adamczyk and Weronika Ksiazkiewicz), is in post-production with a release date of Valentine's Day, 2019. Jules's most recent projects include developing an animated feature film, a rom-com tv series, as well as an English-language horror film (which will be her directorial debut).
Previously a member of dreampop band Ephrata (http://www.ephrataband.com), in 2019 Jules co-founded 60s-influenced power pop band, Pop-Up Books (https://wearepopupbooks.com/), in which she sings, plays bass, and co-writes.
