LaTrice Amanda Strong is a multi-hyphenate screenwriter, producer, and actress from the District of Columbia. As an entrepreneur, LaTrice Amanda is the founder of Whittier Pl Media Group, formally known as A LaTrice Production. She has written and produced award-winning films that have become official selections at national and international film festivals. She is currently in pre-production for her upcoming film titled "Man Number Two" which is slated to hit the 2022 Film Festival Circuit.
Having an extensive educational background, LaTrice Amanda is a doctoral candidate with a focus in academic curriculum design, in addition to having earned her M.Ed in Educational Leadership and MFA in Creative Writing specializing in Television and Film. LaTrice Amanda also trained professionally at the Theatre Lab School of the dramatic arts, in addition to receiving private instruction in acting for television and film
LaTrice Amanda is the founder of Honor U Performance Arts Academy, a 501 C 3 nonprofit organization, where She holds the title of Operational Program Director. She uses her skillset to develop programming that is geared towards awakening the mind, body, and soul of adolescent youth by incorporating the performance arts and personal development skills of the next generation of young artists.
