Trained at Newport Film School as film practitioner in late 80's before becoming a freelance radio reporter for BBC Radio (National Radio) and (World Service) during the 90's. Began screen writing in late 90's and graduated with MA Screenwriting at De Montfort University (2002) and later MA in Playwriting and Writing for Stage & Media Broadcast (Central School of Speech & Drama) 2009.

Acting training at Lee Strasberg School (London) 1992.

Has worked as freelance writer for range of periodicals and websites since the 1990's. Titles include MSN website, Yahoo Lifestyle, Televisual Magazine, Forum magazine, Euro Travel, Viator and BBC History Online.

First TV commission on BBC's Doctors series. 2003.

Writing contacts and companies have worked for include Kay Mellor's Rollem Productions, Phil MacIntyre Promotions, Red Planet and DLT Entertainment.

Penned stage play Trading Faces (2010) staged at The Lion & Unicorn Theatre (London) and nominated for 'Best Play' by The Off West End Awards (2011)
