Eric grew up in Zurich, Switzerland. Studied film at the Zurich University of the Arts. In 2005 he worked on the documentary "Chrigu" as a dramatic advisor. The Film "Chrigu" had its World Premiere at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in 2007. After film school Eric worked as an freelance director in advertisement. In 2012 he created and shot the pilot to the TV series "die Lehrer" (the teachers) together with Adrian Aeschbacher. In 2016 they produced the first season to the TV sitcom "die Lehrer" (the teachers) for the Swiss streaming service "MyPrime" of UPC Switzerland.
