- Additional Crew
Marci's parents took her to see plenty of musical Theatre growing up. She was born in Philadelphia to an electrical engineer father and school nurse mother. Growing up mainly in Northern NJ, the importance of education was instilled in her and her two younger brothers lives, though as a child she was often daydreaming in school. As it turns out she isn't the only actor in the family... Even her grandfather played King Solomon in a production at his Masonic Lodge. Arts and culture were always a big part of their family too and all 3 children learned to play various musical instruments. Though her middle brother was the most talented musician of the lot, she took voice lessons for many years.
She was in her first play at 13, a JCC Production of Once Upon a Mattress in middle school. For seven years she attended private Jewish Day School. In High School she was in all of the school plays. She was involved with plays at Rutgers as well, and she studied Theatre, religion and English. After College she did Community Theatre for many years and was part of a murder mystery dinner Theatre Group. Over the years she's worked several different jobs from administrative assistant, to working on a trading floor, as a waitress and as a News Anchor/Reporter in radio for 5.5 years. She even worked as a tour guide in Lower Manhattan for 8 years.
Despite the challenges of an uncertain field, Marci loves acting. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants, dancing, watching Murder Mysteries and snuggling her orange cat.
