On June 2, 2024, a standing-room-only crowd packed into the 2,695-seat Palace Theatre in Columbus, Ohio. The headliners of the event were Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, who had arrived in Columbus for the fifth date in a nine-city springtime swing.
The Good Mythical Tour, as the event series is known, is the first-ever live tour for the duo known as Rhett and Link. The lifelong friends embarked on their journey to capitalize on the success of Good Mythical Morning, the live show that arrives on YouTube each weekday around 6 Am Et.
As far as YouTube morning shows go, Good Mythical Morning is an unparalleled success story. When Rhett and Link got their start on YouTube in 2006, their initial output consisted of comedic fare, including sketches and music videos. Their clever, polished productions drew attention from brands, but they soon found a format that offered even more creative potential.

Rhett & Link‘s Mythical Entertainment has tapped Westbrook general manager Jacob Moncrief as its new COO, and has named former COO Brian Flanagan president.
Flanagan, who joined Mythical in 2016 and was its first COO, will “remain closely involved in all aspects of the core operating business” as president, but will “increase his focus” on Mythical’s long-term goal of being a household name, the company says.
He’ll be spearheading things like Mythical’s “content-commerce-community flywheel,” investment in up-and-coming creators via its $5 million creator accelerator, and its overall global growth strat.
In a statement, Flanagan said this expansion of Mythical’s executive team “signals our ambition to be the definitive television studio for the internet generation.” He added that Moncrief is “a producer and operator of the highest order and we are lucky to have his many talents powering our growth.”

YouTube stars Rhett & Link later this year will revert to their original shorter “Good Mythical Morning” daily talk-show runtime — less than a year after the comedy duo have been trying their hand at a longer-form, TV-style format.
The news came at Studio71’s Digital Content NewFronts presentation in NYC for advertisers. The company also announced it’s bringing back “This Might Get,” the daily talk show from YouTube comedians and BFFs Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart, for a second season, along with a deal with Fine Brothers Entertainment that includes three new original shows and a branded-content partnership.
Studio71 also touted upcoming content coming from its ongoing partnerships with actor-comedian Lilly Singh, aka YouTube’s “SuperWoman,” and Seven Bucks Digital Studios, the digital arm of Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions.
With the next season of “Good Mythical Morning,” the show will return to a one-segment, 12-...
