There are only a few days left in November, and we all know what that means. Netflix is about to lose some good movies! If you're looking for what to watch on Netflix, this is the list for you.
With the month winding down, we picked the three best movies leaving Netflix in November 2024. We highly recommend watching these movies before they leave in a few days.
At the end of every month, Netflix usually loses the streaming rights to at least a handful of licensed movies. Some of these movies are the most popular movies on Netflix, but more often than not, it's older films.
Let's get the list started with Two Weeks Notice -- which you don't have to watch these movies; it's more like five days notice -- starring Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant!

The curse of success is a fascinating thing in Hollywood. It has always been a "What have you done for me lately?" business. In the case of director Andy Muschietti, in the fall of 2017, he delivered Warner Bros. the biggest horror movie of all time when he nailed an adaptation of Stephen King's much-beloved novel "It." While King's novel had previously been adapted as a TV miniseries in the '90s, Muschietti's take on the material resonated with audiences in a way that nobody could have predicted. The great news for all involved is that King's novel is an unwieldy beast that no one movie could possibly hope to contain.
So, Warner Bros. enlisted Muschietti to get to work right away on a sequel,...

When you think of the DC live-action universe, Swamp Thing might not be the first thing that comes to your mind. Sitting somewhere in the back of our minds, Gary Dauberman’s show seems like a distant memory at best. Of course, its tragic fate in the superhero universe might have had something to do with this.

Shortly after its premiere, Swamp Thing was pulled off the stage and canceled before the rest of its episodes were released. Fans have still not forgotten the ill-treatment of the show and are calling DC out for giving up on it so easily and leaving the audience begging for more, especially as they reminisce on one iconic scene from the pilot episode.

James Mangold may be bringing one of DC’s creepiest heroes to life. The “Logan” and “Ford v. Ferrari” director is reportedly in early talks to tackle “Swamp Thing,” one of the upcoming films from DC Studio’s first chapter of movies under James Gunn and Peter Safran’s command, THR first reported Wednesday.
It’s unclear whether Mangold would both write and direct the film or his exact involvement. Mangold did however seem to confirm his interest on his Twitter, via a post with a panel from the character’s comic series, drawn by co-creator Bernie Wrightson. The post was also retweeted by Gunn.

Representatives from Warner Bros. Discovery. Sources told IndieWire that Mangold is a longtime “Swamp Thing” fan who approached the new regime at DC with his idea for the film, and that he will both direct and write should the project go forward.

"It" is one of Stephen King's most beloved novels. The horror story has terrified readers since it debuted in 1986. "It" features some of the most disturbing moments that King has ever created, and that's no small statement. While the story itself is horrifying, "It" explores the lasting impact of childhood trauma. The coming-of-age elements make "It" one of King's most heartfelt stories. Children and adults can feel inspired by seeing the Losers' Club overcome their fears.
Given the book's popularity, a film adaptation was nearly guaranteed. "It" was first adapted as a two-part miniseries in 1990, starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown. The first episode showed the youthful adventures of the Losers' Club, and the second episode flashed forward to their time as adults. While there is a lot of nostalgia for the 1990 "It," the miniseries doesn't quite capture all the nuances that made the novel so beloved.

Aunjanue Ellis, who plays Venus and Serena Williams’ mother, Oracene, in King Richard, said her character deserves more credit, including from herself.
The film tells the story of how the Williams sisters’ father, Richard Williams (Will Smith), designed a plan for their tennis success. Ellis spoke with Deadline’s Joe Utichi about her performance at Contenders New York on Saturday.
“Before, I had a perception of her that I know so many people have that she was this doting mother in the stands who was always there cheering her daughters on,” Ellis said. “She wore these glasses. She was a woman of mystery but we didn’t know her.”
The Contenders Film: New York — Deadline’s Complete Coverage
When Ellis began researching Oracene, even she took issue with sites like Wikipedia calling her Venus and Serena’s coach. The more Ellis researched, she realized how wrong she was.

With King Richard, director Reinaldo Marcus Green and screenwriter Zach Baylin looked to tell the story of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, and of the parents who spurred them to greatness, honing in less on the public record of the sisters’ accomplishments in the sports world and more on lesser-known aspects of their personal history.
“There are many iconic moments in their life, and I think we worked hard to try to find the moments we didn’t know,” said Baylin during Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles award-season event. “Really what happened inside the house and not just the SportsCenter highlights of their life and career.”

Due to The CW's regular shows being delayed by the pandemic, the smallest network has decided to license and air preexisting series. Swamp Thing originated on the DC Universe streaming service and was cancelled after one season. While airing episodes on The CW seems unlikely to spawn a second season renewal at this point, perhaps the characters' story could continue in some way. After all, John Constantine (another DC Comics character) found new life on CW's Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow after Constantine was cancelled by NBC. Could something like that happen again? Stay tuned.

With Tell Me a Story, the series was also canceled today, so it's not yet clear what made the network pull the trigger on a pickup.
It's possible that the fee to air the show dropped considerably with the cancellation.
Swamp Thing was a high profile series last year. It garnered critical acclaim but was canceled just one day after its DC Universe premiere.
Swamp Thing follows Dr. Abby Arcane (Gotham‘s Crystal Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana.

The CW has acquired former DC Universe series Swamp Thing, based on the DC character, along with Canadian drama Coroner and half-hour British comedy Dead Pixels, from BBC Studios, in their U.S. debuts. All will premiere on broadcast and the network’s free ad-supported streaming platforms. They join previously announced Tell Me A Story, from CBS All Access. Premiere dates and times will be announced later.
The CW is known for using acquired scripted series as summer programming. This year is different as there is a lot of uncertainty over when TV series will be able to go into production amid the coronavirus pandemic, so it is possible that the CW would use some of the acquisitions for late summer or fall to give its originals more time to produce new episodes. The CW is expected to unveil its fall schedule on Thursday.

With many broadcast shows in disarray as a result of the coronavirus production shutdown, a trend is emerging of networks turning to streamers and international waters for content to fill their schedule.
Only hours after Fox announced it will air season 1 of the Spectrum series “L.A.’s Finest” this fall, the CW has gone three better by acquiring the broadcast rights to four different series, among them “Swamp Thing” from DC Universe and “Tell Me a Story” from CBS All Access.
In additional news, the Kevin Williamson-created anthology thriller has been canceled by All Access, Variety has confirmed, meaning that the show will end at two seasons, both of which will be heading to CW for a second-window run and will remain available to stream on All Access.
The other two shows that CW has picked up are “Coroner” (two seasons) and “Dead Pixels” (one season), which hail from Canada and the U.

When I was about 10 I had a friend whose parents really didn’t seem too bothered what he got up to. I remember thinking at the time how incredibly lucky he was (the thick dust that coated everything and gave me allergies didn’t set any alarm bells ringing… his parents swore! How cool!). This meant when I went for a sleep over we could watch whatever, totally inappropriate horror films we liked. We would scare ourselves witless with Freddy Krueger, the Thing and It. I was just the right age for Swamp Thing when he shambled into comics back in the early 1970s. I had years of super-heroes committed to memory so I was primed for something different. Along came Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson’s creation and it dealt nicely with familiar horror tropes but with enough of a twist to feel different along with continuing characters and exquisite artwork.
The arrival of Swamp Thing on DC Universe was equally well-timed in that we’ve had plenty of super-hero films and live-action television so it was a welcome addition to their initial lineup. Then came the news that there was trouble on the set, the series order was cut, then canceled after one ten-episode season. We were left with plenty of unfulfilled potential.
For those who missed out on the show, Warner Home Entertainment has released Swamp Thing the Complete Series in a fine Blu-ray package.

A few decades ago we’d often get three or four different Stephen King adaptations a year in theaters and on television, and 2019 feels like a throwback because it’s got so many new ones: “It Chapter Two,” In the Tall Grass,” “Pet Sematary,” season 2 of “Castle Rock,” and “Doctor Sleep.” That’s a lot of Stephen King things.
Based on the adult-focused parts of Stephen King’s iconic novel, “It Chapter Two” takes place 27 years after the first film. The Losers Club, now adults who have gone their separate ways, reluctantly reunite in Derry to fulfill the blood oath they made to each other and finish off the evil Pennywise once and for all. Director/writer pair Andy Muschietti and Gary Dauberman return, with James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean playing the older versions of the Losers Club members.

It Chapter Two is the supernatural horror sequel to its first chapter in 2017, It, both directed by Andy Muschietti and based off Stephen King's exemplary 1,138 word novel. It reintroduces the kids from the first chapter as mostly successful adults who've done their best to move on from the traumatic summer of 1989. James McAvoy plays the main protagonist, Bill Denbrough, who has become a novelist with an actress wife, Jessica Chastain plays Beverly Marsh as a well known, Chicago-based fashion designer, Bill Hader plays Richie Tozier as a famous La based comedian, James Ransome plays Eddie Kaspbrak who is ironically a NYC based risk assessor, Andy Bean plays Stanley Uris who has become a wealthy partner of an accounting business, and Isaiah Mustafa plays Mike Hanlon who is the only one to have stayed in Derry, working as a local librarian. Clearly, most of them have moved far away from...

This carnivalesque sequel throws in shocks aplenty and homages to horror classics, but it lacks depth and precision
In the wake of the record-breaking success of 2017’s It, this follow-up brings the Stephen King story to an end, not with a whimper but with several spectacular bangs. More epic in both scope and length than its predecessor (the running time outstrips even Tarantino’s ultra-indulgent Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Andy Muschietti’s good-looking sequel has visual style to spare as it pits its now-adult antiheroes against an ever-expanding creepshow of shrieking scary monsters and crawly super creeps. From giant, drooling clowns to grotesque insect apparitions and spiderlike shape-shifters, It Chapter Two doesn’t skimp on the funhouse theatrics, even riffing on a quotable moment from John Carpenter’s The Thing, which remains a monstrous benchmark for mind-bending 80s horror. Giving the sagging box office a jolt, “It: Chapter Two” is heading for as much as $100 million in its opening weekend in North America, early estimates showed Friday.
Warner Bros. is adhering to its $90 million forecast for the horror sequel but rival studios projected a nine-figure launch frame. The figure is $23 million less than the 2017 debut of “It,” but it’s also the best opening since “The Lion King” premiered with $191.8 million during its July 19-21 opening frame.
Should it top $100 million, “It: Chapter Two” will the first non-Disney title to open above that mark this year and fifth following “Avengers: Endgame,” “The Lion King,” “Toy Story 4” and “Captain Marvel.”
The sequel is debuting at 4,570 domestic locations in the widest launch ever for an R-rated film. “It: Chapter 2” will easily surpass the opening for last year’s “Halloween,” which scored $76 million for the second-biggest horror movie launch of all time.

I’m sure you’ve noticed that the reviews for director Andy Muschietti’s It: Chapter 2 have been mixed. Some people are loving it while others are like, “What the hell was that!?” I personally loved the sequel! I thought it was a great and terrifying conclusion for the adaption of Stephen King’s classic story.
As I’ve talked to people about the film and I’ve been reading people’s reactions, I’ve noticed that most people who liked the movie read the book while the people who didn’t read the book didn’t seem to care for the film. This makes sense because the film introduces some some interesting and weird elements like the Ritual of Chud, which is what the Losers’ Club needs to perform in an effort to help destroy Pennywise The Clown. I won’t get into what that means, or how it plays out,...

“It: Chapter Two” has launched impressively with $10.5 million domestically in Thursday night preview showings.
The figure is $3 million less than the $13.5 million preview gross from “It” two years ago, when the horror adaptation stunned the industry with a $123 million opening weekend.
Warner Bros.’ much-anticipated sequel is kicking off the fall movie season amid sky-high expectations, and could debut with $85 million to $90 million from 4,570 domestic locations. That number is short of its predecessor’s bullish start, but the R-rated film will likely surpass the opening for last year’s “Halloween,” which scored $76 million for the second-biggest horror movie launch of all time.
