Warner Bros. has released another look at Timothée Chalamet as Willy Wonka in the new “Wonka” trailer. The second trailer gives a further glimpse into the origin story of the iconic chocolate maker, with Chalamet serving another comedic rendition of the beloved character.

Alongside Chalamet, “Wonka” stars Hugh Grant, Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Matthew Baynton, Matt Lucas, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Natasha Rothwell, Simon Farnaby, Paterson Joseph, Tom Davis, Rakhee Thakrar, Justin Edwards, Colin O’Brien, Ellie White, Freya Parker and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.

Paul King directs from a script he co-wrote alongside Simon Farnaby. Michael Siegel and Alexandra Derbyshire executive produce, while Luke Kelly and David Heyman via Heyman Films serve as producers.

Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for ‘Wonka’, starring Chalamet as the eccentric chocolatier created by Roald Dahl and previously portrayed eerily by Johnny Depp. The musical fantasy film follows the adventures of a young Willy Wonka, including how he met the Oompa-Loompas.

Along with Chalamet, according to ‘Variety’, the film stars Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Matthew Baynton, Matt Lucas, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Natasha Rothwell, Simon Farnaby, Paterson Joseph, Tom Davis, Rakhee Thakrar, Justin Edwards, Colin O’Brien, Ellie White, Freya Parker and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.

‘Wonka’ is directed by the BAFTA-nominated Paul King, who has previously helmed the two ‘Paddington’ films, from a script he co-wrote with Simon Farnaby. Heyman Films, makers of the Harry Potter films, serve as producers on ‘Wonka’.

U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 has released a first look image of its new comedy series, “Big Mood” (working title), produced by Fremantle‘s Dancing Ledge Productions. The six-part series explores the intricacies of female friendship when confronted with the complexities of serious mental illness.

Starring in the show are Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West. Star Trek’s George Takei is moving to Fluffytown to voice a panda in an animated kids’ series for the BBC.

Takei, who played Sulu in the classic sci-fi series, will voice Elder Panda in preschool series Love Monster, which is a co-production by the British public broacaster’s kids’ channel CBeebies, Boat Rocker Studios, and China’s UYoung.

The 54-part series, which will air in January 2020, is based on Rachel Bright’s Love Monster series. It follows the adventures of hairy hero, Love Monster, as he navigates the challenges of being the only monster in Fluffytown – a world of cute baby animals. With a lot of help from his friends, Love Monster learns to follow his heart rather than his slightly ‘over-thinky’ head, as he searches for the right thing to do.
