Carrie (Jackie Kelly) is a socially-troubled young woman trying to mend a strained relationship with her mother. After her grandfather dies in a nursing home, Carrie finds herself attracted to William (Bill Oberst Jr.), an elderly man in a neighboring room. William’s doctor offers Carrie a part-time position with the nursing home to keep tabs on the old man. William shares a series of tall tales from his life as a younger man. He claims to be immortal, cursed to never die, but to grow old and sick. Before he can finish his final tale, William mysteriously disappears, and Carrie is implicated in his murder.

After months of rampant excitement, Ship To Shore Media, in connection with studio Epic Pictures, have finally given us a look at the Megafoot beast in anticipation of the upcoming creature-feature!

It’s lucky 13 — as in 13th annual edition — for Switzerland’s Lausanne Underground Film Festival, an epic celebration of cinematic weirdness, violence, filth and everything else that makes life worth living. The wild debauchery runs October 15-19.

The film stars Bill Oberst, Jr., as an insomniac writer whose sleep-deprived hallucinations distort reality as paranoia drives him to extreme violence. The surreal shocker, which mixes arthouse and horror, is shopping for distribution, and it's first public screenings have elicited strong reaction.

Director Trevor Juenger tweeted last week from a festival, "Someone in the audience keeps yelling What Is This? and What Does It Mean? We're going to give him an aneurysm by film's end." Juenger says a college screening of Coyote was shut down mid-film by an administrator citing "<>extreme violence" while another public screening in the director's hometown of St. Louis had to be cancelled when the theater owner refused to run the film due to "extreme content.

Trevor Juenger's surreal horror Coyote now has a short video clip for fans. This title was recently shown at the Pollygrind Film Festival. And, the film central stars horror vet' Bill Oberst Jr. (Children of Sorrow), along with Joe Hammerstone (Tales of Fear) and Victoria Mullen. This title might be coming to a theatre near you. And, fans of arthouse in cinema can view the expressionistic clip below. The film involves a paranoid writer, whose insomnia leads him to violence and self-destruction. This is Juenger's first feature film and it is already receiving praise from websites. Greg Baty at Cinesploitation enjoyed the "nightmarish imagery," while Mike Thomas at Matchflick felt lost in the story: "It is a film that you don't understand, rather you hold on, or get lost forever." Written and directed by Trevor Juenger, Coyote stars Bill Oberst Jr. as Bill a struggling writer who deals with insomnia. His problems seem to begin when he types the phrase “sleep is the enemy” on his old typewriter. Bill is plunged into some gruesome and bizarre circumstances, including murder, aliens hiding among us, a video camera with a vagina, and applying for a job at a home shopping channel.

Coyote is one of the strangest films I’ve ever seen. Bill’s psyche begins to suffer rather quickly when he begins experiencing disturbing hallucinations due to the fact that he hasn’t slept in days.

The line between reality and fantasy is ultimately obliterated and Bill just about loses his mind. Bill Oberst Jr. is fantastic in this film. He beautifully and convincingly captures a man’s descent into abject madness. He scared me.

My favorite line from this trailer: “The blood and guts fly out….the camera does not stop rolling!”…Well, let’s hope not!

The movie’s lead actor, who is slicing his way through more than half-naked nubile bodies is Bill Oberst Jr. If you were at the screening of the St. Louis-lensed shocker Coyote last month at Mx Theater, you saw that film’s star Mr. Oberst who is currently swinging for the title of “Hardest Working Man In Horror” with no less than twelve major roles in independent horror films this year. Bill’s most famous role was as honest Abe in Abraham Lincoln Vs Zombies (2012), which, though not quite as good as Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter, was far superior than that boring-ass Speilberg movie.

Coyote, the St. Louis-lensed shocker from Writer/Director Trevor Juenger will be making its hometown debut this Friday night, April 26th, at the new luxury theatre Mx Movies in downtown St. Louis (618 Washington Ave St Louis, Mo 63101). The screening is at 11:30pm and is Free!

Coyote, an “art-horror feature” tells of a writer (Bill Oberst Jr) whose insomnia causes him to suffer hallucinations. He’s distracted, irritated and slowly going mad. He’s soon taking it out on the people around him, and he’s not afraid to take violent measures. Bill Oberst played Honest Abe in Abraham Lincoln Vs Zombies which was actually better than the Spielberg film! Joe Hammerstone, Bill Finkbiner, Tasha Zebrowski, and Victoria Mullen round out the cast.

Coyote is an indie horror title from director Trevor Juenger. In the film, the character Bill (Bill Oberst Jr.) descends into madness. Bill acts strangely and he voices his inner turmoil and false beliefs because of mental illness. Very surreal, Coyote is an arthouse pic' that will entertain fans of the darkly bizarre. In the film's first trailer, Bill seems to rant and rave as he interacts with a handful of other characters. One girl deliciously sucks on Bill's thumb? For those of us that live in St. Louis we know how hot and humid the summer can get. Sometimes it is unbearable and sometimes it can make you crazy. I’m not sure if that is the cause of the craziness in this trailer for the new film Coyote but craziness is present. We encourage you to check out this interesting trailer for the art-horror film that was lensed in St. Louis during a heat wave.
