Exclusive: Kiah Clingman (Bruiser) and Brittany Inge (The Ms. Pat Show) are set for key recurring roles in the upcoming third season of Hulu‘s hit legal drama Reasonable Doubt.

Reasonable Doubt centers on Los Angeles-based high-powered criminal defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi) as she deals with past traumas, a struggling marriage, motherhood and a murder case while trying to keep her life together.

In addition to Corinealdi they join returning series regulars McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey and new series regular Joseph Sikora. Morris Chestnut, Kyle Bary, Rumer Willis, Brandee Evans, Richard Brooks, April Parker Jones and Keith Arthur Bolden recur.

Clingman will play Kristin, Ozzie’s (Kyle Bary) dedicated sister who helps him through good and bad times.

Inge will portray Kendra, Bill’s (Joseph Sikora) wife who doesn’t have time for nonsense.

The Onyx Collective series is created, written and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed.

“Reasonable Doubt” Season 3 will head back to Hulu TV screens on Sept. 18.

The next chapter will kick off with a two-episode premiere, and new episodes will stream every Thursday. Season 3 is currently in production in Atlanta.

Series regulars include Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey and Joseph Sikora. Reasonable Doubt will be back in session this September, when Season 3 hits Hulu.

It was announced on Saturday on the Essence Festival of Culture’s main stage that Season 3 will bow Thursday, Sept. 18, with the first two episodes, followed by weekly releases.

Onyx Collective has set the premiere of Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt‘s third season for September 18 and revealed a trio of first-look photos, including one of new series regular Joseph Sikora.

As Deadline revealed in March, Sikora, best known for playing Tommy Egan in the “Power’ Universe, will portray Bill Sterling. Bill is Jax’s coworker at her firm, Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart. He started his law career later in life after serving in the Coast Guard for ten years. As he looks toward making partner, his proximity to Jax becomes imperative to his success.

Also new this season, Kyle Bary in the recurring role of Ozzie, a household name since his childhood when he starred in a long-running sitcom, who is now up for a franchise role. He comes to Jax with a dilemma that quickly becomes messy.

Rapper Kash Doll has joined “Reasonable Doubt” for its third season as a recurring guest star.

The Detroit-born musician will take on the role of Nisha, the close friend and assistant to Wendy (Rumer Willis), whom she is bound to by “a deeply personal loyalty,” per Hulu-Onyx Collective’s description of the character.

Kash Doll is latest addition to the “Reasonable Doubt” cast. Earlier this month, the series shared the news that Morris Chestnut would be returning the legal drama. And along with him comes several newbies to the show, including Brandee Evans (“P-Valley”), Rumer Willis (“Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood”), Richard Brooks (“Law & Order”), Keith Arthur Bolden (“Till”), April Parker Jones (“The Other Black Girl”) and Kyle Bary (“Ginny & Georgia”).

It’s been about five months since Hulu’s legal drama Reasonable Doubt was renewed for a third season, but sadly, no premiere date has been announced as of this writing. Nevertheless, the streamer has confirmed that filming is ongoing in Atlanta, which TV Insider reported, while also dropping a terrific casting update in the shape of Morris Chestnut. Chestnut has been most recently seen leading the CBS medical-mystery series Watson, which premiered earlier in January and has already been renewed for another run.

Also joining Season 3 in recurring roles are Kyle Bary (Ginny & Georgia), Rumer Willis (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Brandee Evans (P-Valley), Richard Brooks (9-1-1), April Parker Jones (Tom Swift) and Keith Arthur Bolden (Cobra Kai).

“The plot thickens…” the official Instagram page for the series boasted in a post on Tuesday, adding a few details about what fans can expect to see from the longtime “Power” franchise star’s new character Bill Sterling. “Joseph Sikora is bringing his talent to ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Season 3! Say hello to Bill Sterling, the man who has got his eyes on Jax and the partner position.”

Sikora’s Sterling, Jax Stewart’s (Emayatzy Corinealdi) coworker, launched a career in law later on in life following a 10-year tenure as a Coast Guard. But now, he’s looking to lock in the partner spot at Jax’s law firm Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart, where his “proximity to Jax becomes imperative to his success.

“Reasonable Doubt” has cast Joseph Sikora as a series regular for its upcoming third season, Variety has learned.

Hulu has no doubt about the future of its legal drama, Reasonable Doubt, as the streamer just renewed the series for a third season. The Kerry Washington-produced show has been a low-key hit since it debuted in 2022, so it's not surprising to see it getting another installment. Some fans, however, were unsure about its fate, as its second season concluded almost a month ago.

But there are no objections, as far as The Hollywood Reporter can tell, to this show returning to court.

The well-reviewed (and received) series came to Hulu from the Onyx Collective, with executive producers Kerry Washington, Pilar Savone, Larry Wilmore, and Anton Cropper. Creator and showrunner Raamla Mohamed also serves as an executive producer. Mohamed was also a former writer on Scandal the show that made Washington a household name. The series has a 100% fresh rating for both seasons on Rotten Tomatoes.

What Is 'Reasonable Doubt' About?...

Today, Onyx Collective and 20th Television announced a season three renewal for the Hulu Original drama series Reasonable Doubt, which comes from executive producers Raamla Mohamed, Kerry Washington, and Larry Wilmore.

The Disney-owned streamer has renewed the series for a third season. The pickup comes about four weeks after Reasonable Doubt concluded its second season.

Following the finale, creator and showrunner Raamla Mohamed told The Hollywood Reporter that she was hopeful for a third season. “They [Hulu] definitely are happy with the way the show is performing, and it’s doing well and people are really excited about it so that makes me very happy. I’m hoping that I hear something before the end of the year either way. The most important thing is that people keep watching, keep telling their friends.”

That’s right, the verdict is in and Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi) is headed back into the courtroom alongside the members of her dream legal team Krystal (Angela Grovey) and Daniel (Tim Jo). And with the way last season ended — no spoilers — Jax and her husband Lewis (McKinley Freeman) are going to need all the help they can get.

Morris Chestnut, the latest star to join Hulu-Onyx Collective’s hit legal drama “Reasonable Doubt,” says he’d love to be a permanent addition to Jax Stewart’s (Emayatzy Corinealdi) bench.

“I would love to be,” the actor told TheWrap. “Without a doubt. Working with Raamla [Mohamed] and Emayatzy, the whole cast is incredible. Raamla writes a great script. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to be in the next script after I read the previous one. I would come back in a heartbeat.”

“I’d say it’s a real testament to Raamla Mohamed, who is an expert craftsman,” Jo, who plays Jax Stewart’s private investigator Daniel Kim, told TheWrap. “I can’t imagine the amount of effort and thought that goes into every word, and into the entire show that is her baby. But when she herself comes to me and says, ‘Tim, you can say whatever,’ I know that’s not glib, I know that’s her placing a lot of faith in me. So I really appreciate that, especially this season. I ran with it and said, ‘I’m going to say whatever I feel like.’ And so I did do that.”

Described as a “musical horror-thriller,” Variety reports today that the upcoming movie Art of a Hit has been acquired by Giant Pictures for 2024 release here in North America.

The film “follows a ’90s rock band frontman grappling with irrelevance. An eccentric producer invites the band to his French chateau to record, where they encounter unexpected challenges.”

“Art of a Hit takes everything we love about the late ‘90s and early 2000s rock scene and jams it into a wildly creepy castle in the most beautiful place on earth: Dordogne, France. It’s funny, scary, messed up and honest — a story about what it’s like to be in a band and the insane fears of trying to make it as an artist. If you love late 90s rock, if you loved being in a band, you will love Art of a Hit,” director Gaelan Draper and co-writer/star Charlie Saxton said.

Kandi Burruss has joined the second season of Hulu’s legal drama “Reasonable Doubt,” starring alongside series regulars Emayatzy Corinealdi, Morris Chestnut, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Aderinsola Olabode and Thaddeus J. Mixson.

Burruss will take on the role of Eboni Phillips, a party girl in her youth who has since cleaned herself up.

According to an official logline, the new season follows Jax Stewart, who “after trying to heal from her wounds from last season’s arduous trial and deadly affair, is attempting to get her life back on track. That is until one of her closest friends reveals that she has killed her husband.”

“Reasonable Doubt” is created, written and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed. Kerry Washington executive-produces with Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, Larry Wilmore for Wilmore Films and Anton Cropper. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay, Tamara Gregory, Lena Cordina, Tash Gray and Resheida Brady are co-executive producers.

Get ready for the return of Reasonable Doubt. Hulu has announced the premiere date for season two of the legal drama with the release of several first-look photos. The streaming service renewed the drama in April 2023.

Emayatzy Corinealdi, Morris Chestnut, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Aderinsola Olabode, and Thaddeus J. Mixson star in the Reasonable Doubt series, which follows a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney (Corinealdi) as she balances her personal and professional lives.

Starring Kylie Bunbury, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo, the drama revolves around the first female player to join Major League baseball. The unholy union of rock music and horror is alive and well in Art of a Hit, a psychological horror movie set to begin production soon according to Deadline.

Formerly titled Excelsis, Art of a Hit is set in 2003 and “follows a bygone rock band as they journey to a 1000-year-old French chateau to record with a reclusive super-producer in hopes of rebooting their career. Exclusive: Ryan Donowho (The O.C.) is set to topline Art of a Hit (fka Excelsis), an indie psychological horror film directed by Gaelan Draper that will begin shooting in France this month under a SAG Interim Agreement. Exclusive: Buchwald has upped veteran talent agents Angelo Padilla and Marion Campbell Kammer to Senior Vice President of Talent and Vice President of Talent, respectively. Both are based in the agency’s Los Angeles office.

Legal drama “Reasonable Doubt” will serve up a second season at Hulu, Onyx Collective announced Monday.

Along with returning cast members Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Aderinsola Olabode and Thaddeus J. Mixson, NAACP Image Award-winning actor Morris Chestnut will join the courtroom as a series regular.

In “Reasonable Doubt” Season 1, viewers met Jax Stewart (Corinealdi), the brilliant and courageous Los Angeles-based civil and crime defense attorney as she tackled professional and personal battles in and out of the courthouse, which included a failing marriage, broken friendships and a crazed former client-turned-love interest named Damon (Michael Ealy), who died by suicide at the end of Season 1.

Onyx Collective’s “Reasonable Doubt” has been renewed for Season 2 and will be bringing in Morris Chestnut (“The Best Man”) as a series regular, Variety has confirmed.

Chestnut will play charming, media-savvy defense attorney Corey Cash, whose client roster is typically full of underdogs. After bringing Corey in to help on a high-profile case, Jax learns he could threaten her standing at the firm.

The series follows Los Angeles-based criminal defense attorney, Jax Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi) as she faces untapped trauma from her past, her struggling marriage, motherhood, and how she manages to juggle it all while maintaining her polished career. Reasonable Doubt, Onyx Collective’s first scripted series, is getting a special airing of its premiere episode on ABC. The debut episode of the legal drama series, which streams on Hulu, will air Thursday, November 10 at 10:01 Pm Est.

“Reasonable Doubt,” the first Onyx Collective series to debut on Hulu, is getting a special airing of its premiere episode on ABC.

The drama series’ first episode will air on ABC on Nov. 10 at 10 p.m. Et/Pt. “Alaska Daily,” which normally airs in the Thursday 10 p.m. timeslot, will return with a new episodes on Nov. 17.

“Reasonable Doubt” originally debuted on Hulu on Sept. 27 with its first two episodes, with new episodes having dropped weekly thereafter. Batman’s butler is coming to HBO Max.

The streamer released the first trailer for Season 3 of “Pennyworth: The Origins of Batman’s Butler” on Wednesday, showcasing the newest chapter in Alfred Pennyworth’s story. The new season will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 6 with three episodes followed by one episode weekly through Nov. 24.

The DC origin series Jack Bannon as the titular butler, who is also a former British Sas soldier. He forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge) and his wife Martha (Emma Paetz) before they become Bruce Wayne’s parents.
