David Rodriguez Estrada is a Mexican-American writer/director/actor based in Los Angeles. He has a degree in film from the Art Institute of California. He's directed multiple award winning short films including his thesis film "¿Existes?" which premiered at the Palm Springs Shorts Fest and "Suripanta", nominated for an Imagen Award. He's a proud representative of a new generation of Queer Latine storytellers. "El Tesoro", starring Oscar nominee Adriana Barraza and produced by Patricia Riggen, is David's latest film.
