Ms Layne is an accomplished actor. She is also a classically trained ballet dancer, having been trained at Dance Theater Harlem, The National Ballet of Canada and Philadanco of Philadelphia, USA. Tijuana has been fortunate to have worked with Penelope Ann Miller in The Mary Kay Letourneau Story and the science fiction film, Battlequeen 2020 for The Space Channel. In the past several years, Ms. Layne has concentrated her efforts on indie film making. She has written over fourteen screenplays, produced eleven and directed six films.
Using the medium of film, she has earned respect in her edgy, provocative, social story telling. These films include Inconsolable, The Mute Swan, Need, Love Me, In the Name of Love. Ms Layne is presently in preproduction of her latest film The Color of the Heart (2019) and looking forward to her feature film, Sad Eyes, which explores the world of human sex trafficking.
