Marina Gordon is a multilingual and multicultural actress born in Kyiv, Ukraine, during the Soviet era, then transitioned to Israel before finally settling in the United States. Fluent in four languages and immersed in three distinct cultures, Marina brings a unique perspective to her craft.
Her passion for storytelling ignited during her youth in Ukraine with her father's influence who has worked in a big documentary film studio and has always been a huge fan of movies and books. This passion led her to join a youth theater group in Israel, where she discovered her calling to spin stories and evoke emotions through performance. Marina made her cinematic debut in an Israeli blockbuster, "Wisdom of the Pretzel," playing opposite lead and showcasing her talent on the big screen.
Three years later, Marina made the bold move to New York City, where she wasted no time broadening her skills, performing in various theaters across the city in different languages in addition to voice-over work and commercials. In recent years she had shifted her focus to the film industry and started to quickly grow her on-camera resume.
With a knack for portraying strong yet eccentric characters, Marina has tackled roles from a tough guard with a vulnerable secret in a dystopian psychological thriller The Children Of The Nation that got multiple nominations and awards in a film festival circuit, tough love caretaker in a coming of age story in The Human Library, and her current endeavor as a dysfunctional mother (crafty swindler) in a family drama George and Alex.
Marina isn't just about acting - she's all about living life to the fullest. When she's not lighting up the screen, you can find her hanging out with loved ones, exploring new countries (fifteen and counting!), or picking up new hobbies like horseback riding. Marina is going to put her skills to the test this summer riding in the Caucasus mountains and exploring the country of Georgia. She's a rock climber too, scaling cliffs from the US to far-flung destinations. Keep an eye out for Marina-her zest for life shines through in everything she does.
