Elena McGhee

Elena was raised in Northampton, Massachusetts. She attended UMass and began her professional acting career in Boston, and is now based in NYC.Her theater work is long and varied from Marat/Sade to Shakespeare. Her roles range from a one woman show, playing as Lou Andrea Salome, a prolific analyst and writer-- to the first lady; Lady Bird Johnson in The Great Society Off Broadway.
In Film and Television, from a beaten woman in Cormac McCarthy's Child of God directed by James Franco, to beating up Louie CK on the show Louie. Her acting mentor is Wynn Handman, she also trained at Classic Stage Company; A two-year classical acting program and at Studio Dante, led by Michael Imperioli, Nick Sandow, Sharon Angela and Vincent Curatola.
In addition to acting, Elena is a Certified Linklater Voice Instructor mentored by the Master teacher Kristin Linklater and continues to explore voice in various venues including voice over to voice coaching.
