Frank T. Ziede is a Writer/Director based in the Midwest. Known for high powered action, Frank has worked on numerous films and created the military action series BLACK, starring real life military veterans. His projects have won numerous film festival awards, most recently Best Action/Adventure at the 2015 & 2016 Hollywed Awards.
A native of Arizona, Frank T. Ziede began acting at a very young age. He attended the South Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in Phoenix, a high school with a dedicated arts program where he focused on acting, singing and dancing. During this time he was the host of the show VIDEO HIGH, which won a 1991-1992 Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Program.
Frank then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA. This prestigious school boasts alumni such as Robert Redford, Danny DeVito and Kirk Douglas. After completing the two year program Frank continued living in Los Angeles where he continued working as an actor, but also pursued a career as a professional hip-hop dancer.
Frank's dance career spanned for over 8 years, working with Celine Dion, Usher, Ginuwine, Svala, Rockapella, Universal Studios and Nickelodeon. After meeting his wife, Frank moved to Chicago where he turned the filmmaking as his primary focus. He has even worked as a trade show spokesperson for clients such as Sony, Intel, Dewar's and Colgate. He is also a professional automotive facilitator and trainer, working for manufacturers such as MINI, BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar and many others.
