Mica Bara

Mica Bara was born in Berlin, Germany in 1984. She is the daughter of a
German opera singer and a Hungarian trumpeter. Mica made her first
appearance on stage as an extra in "The Bartered Bride" when she was
eleven years old at the theatre in Annaberg-Buchholz where her mother
was engaged as a soloist. Mica became a member of the children's choir
and then was a member of the extra chorus at the age of 16. She
completed her secondary studies and after graduation made her acting
debut in small roles in several musical theatre and drama productions
at the theatre. She then completed her formal acting studies at the
Fritz-Kirchhoff-School in Berlin. She has since then played in theatre
productions in Germany and Switzerland. Mica has been cast furthermore
in short films as well as in regular length films such as the German
coming-of-age movie "Sommer" and the international film "Diaz - Don't
clean up this blood" which had its premiere at the Berlinale 2012.
