Charles Dowdy III

Charles Dowdy III was born June 14, 1969 at FT. Hood, Texas, to Betty Jo Dowdy, and Charles a Dowdy Jr Army retired. His parents divorced so he was raised by his mother aided by her parents Clarence E Bracken Retired Air force and Bobbie Bracken homemaker in Albuquerque New Mexico. During his grandfather's time in service he was also a boxer whom got to spar with Joe Louis. Charles grew up listening to music, dancing and always found himself in front of the family camera. His grandfather's juke box provided hours of listening to classics and he was also inspired to entertain by his aunt Sandra Isaminger an incredible vocalist and stage performer.

Charles made his acting debut in "Special Olympics" in 1978 as Tanana starring Charles Durning. Acting has always been his passion even from a young age however, his single mother was not so excited. Charles stayed active in drama throughout school. After graduation from high school Charles served in the United States Army and was involved in Desert Storm. Charles continued while in service to perform in talent shows when opportunities arose. After military service, he found his way back to set via "The longest yard" 2005. Since then he has appeared in over 12 films, and television productions. During his 12-year acting career, Charles has worked with Joe Pantoliano, Gerard Butler, Martin Sheen, Brian Cranston, and many more. Movie fans will recognize Charles from "Deadly Impact" and "Beer for My Horses" and "Crossed Lines". On television, you may have seen him in the Emmy award winning series "Breaking Bad" as Mr. Wilson, "In Plain sight", and Longmire. When this veteran isn't working on his craft or on set he enjoys spending time with his family and friends living and loving life.
