Catherine Worth
- Actress
Catherine Worth began her professional stage career working at the Detroit Repertory Theater, and the Organic/Touchstone Theater in Chicago. While working in Chicago, she got the call to head back home to Detroit to become a main-stage performer at the acclaimed Second City. She spent two years as a performer- writing and acting in 6 productions where she garnered critical praise.
After moving to Los Angeles, she continued her stage work- working extensively with The East LA Classic Theater's productions of A Midsummer Nights Dream and Much Ado About Nothing directed by Tony Plana (Ugly Betty/Madam Secretary), as well as the Open Fist Theater company.
Within a few years of living in Los Angeles, Catherine was asked to be a part of a one-man stage show starring Larry Joe Campbell (According to Jim) that offered her the opportunity to work in comedy again. She was hailed by critics saying she deserved a show of her own.
In season 4, she guest-starred on Key and Peele, and was also asked to offer her musical talents as a violinist to the production as well in the pirate sketch.
