First movie experience was the opportunity of a lifetime appearing in Disney's The Parent Trap. Chéri was then "discovered" for the second time as a teenager while working at a golf resort in Palm Springs, and promptly booked for a national Callaway golf commercial.

An accomplished singer with a beautiful operatic voice, Chéri trained with the legendary Don Tosti in Palm Springs as one of his last vocal students before his death in 2004.
