Priyanka Chopra is set to make a significant impact with her upcoming Marathi film Paani, which is scheduled for release on October 18. The actress recently attended the trailer launch event in Mumbai, where she was also present for her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding. Paani, produced by Priyanka in collaboration with Rajshri Entertainment and Kothare Vision Pvt Ltd, has already garnered attention for winning the National Award for ‘Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation’ in 2019. The superhit Marathi franchise ‘Zapatlela’ is returning with its 3rd instalment. On Wednesday, the makers announced the 3rd part of the franchise with a new poster.

The third part of the horror-comedy franchise will be helmed by actor-director Mahesh Kothare who directed the previous two installments. Actor Addinath Kothare will be seen in the lead role yet again and joining him alongside is mischievous yet loved ‘Tatya Vinchu’.

Director Mahesh Kothare said: “After the two successful franchises, we owe it to our audience to deliver a compelling story. With a good story in place, ‘Zapatlela 3’ is poised to take viewers on an enthralling journey.”

The cameras will start rolling on the film by the end of this year.

The film is produced by Rajnish Khanuja of Select Media Holdings along with Mahesh Kothare of Jenma Films International.

Actor Addinath Kothare has joined Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter for the upcoming Netflix drama series, ‘Royals’. A source close to Ians confirmed that the actor, who made his debut in Kabir Khan’s ’83’, has been roped in. They have already shot in Jaipur, Rajasthan and will be shooting in Mumbai as well.

It is reported that the series is going to be a romantic drama produced by Pritish Nandy Communications.

Addinath, who also works in Marathi cinema, made his directorial debut with the film ‘Paani’, which won the ‘National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation’ at the 66th National Film Awards.

He stepped into the world of acting as a child in the 1994 hit film ‘Majha Chakula’.

In Kabir Khan’s ’83’, he played former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar alongside Ranveer Singh.

Mumbai, Aug 15 (Ians) Addinath Kothare revealed that for his character in ‘Bajao’, he got trained for Delhi accent. The actor said he even has a dialect coach.

Addinath made his Bollywood debut in the biographical sports film 83, portraying the role of former cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar. He was also seen in Criminal Justice.

Revealing about his character in the show, Addinath said: “Bajao’s teaser is out and the content is very different, unlike the content we have seen on the web recently. Hence, they are keeping it very minimalistic.

“Along with the madness, there is a comedy, a great dramatic story that holds through the series. My character is a Delhi-based rapper. And I am sure I will get some crazy responses, people won’t be able to recognise me in that character.”

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, and Shriram Nene’s second production “Panchak” had its screening recently in the competition section at the ongoing Pune International Film Festival (Piff), and they are pleased with the response that the film received from the jury.

The film, shot in Konkan, is a dark comedy and deals with the fear of superstition and death. The film features an ensemble cast of the finest artistes from Marathi film, television, and stage, and is shot in picturesque Konkan.

About the response to the film at the fest, Madhuri and Nene, in a joint statement, said: “We were humbled and elated with the response we received at the screening at the festival.”

Pankaj Tripathi has started shooting for "'83" despite an injury that he suffered when he fell off a motorbike. The actor says a physiotherapist on the film's set is helping him out with the pain.

A day before Pankaj was to leave for vacation, he had an accident riding a motorcycle. He complained of pain in his abdominal area and was diagnosed with three fractured ribs during a medical check-up.

"I am taking precautions by not lifting weights, no sudden and harsh movements to avoid stress on ribs. I am taking all precautionary measures to prevent stress on ribs. Even the crew is taking care as not to give me scenes or shots that will require physical stress," Pankaj said.

"As actors, we should be more alert. I was careful, but accidents can happen anytime and anywhere," the actor said.

He said the cast and crew of "'83" is taking good care of him.
