An award-winning producer, Duke Greenhill began his career working on independent and studio films out
of Austin, Texas, including The Alamo, The Rookie, and The Life of
David Gale, and assisted Academy Award-winning filmmaker, Barbara
Kopple. He then continued his career in Washington, DC, writing,
directing and producing internationally acclaimed television
commercials. He relocated to New York, where he produces independent
films, many of which have won national and international awards,
including a student Academy-Award nomination and work CNN
called "the most talented there are." Most recently, Greenhill has
produced a feature starring an international cast including Jason
Robards III, David Thornton and Jay O. Sanders, as well as an
anticipated feature set for the fall of 2010 to be directed by Bruce
Beresford ("Driving Miss Daisy"). An MFA from Columbia University's
graduate school of film, Greenhill is also a widely published film
theorist and writer with assignments for The New York Times,
MovieMaker, The Harvard Review, Reason Magazine and others.
