Ruth Pickett is a BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated and Broadcast Digital Award winning Writer & Director of comedy and drama. In 2025 she won a BAFTA for directing Quiet Life, a comedy short film for the BBC starring Luke Rollason. Her other directing credits include Series 3 of Ladhood for the BBC and the Broadcast Award winning short-form series Transaction for Comedy Central. She has also worked as a co-writer / development writer on a comedy feature film in development with Cate Blanchett's Dirty Films, which will star Jess Gunning (Baby Reindeer). Ruth is represented by Curtis Brown for narrative work and Hungry Man for commercials and music videos.
