Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer is an award-winning actress, singer, composer and producer.
As an actor, Yvette played the role of Ella on "9-1-1" opposite Angela Bassett as well as the role of Amanda in the feature film "Replica," with Mickey Rourke. She played the role of Cha Cha in FOX's star-studded cast of "Grease: Live," guest star roles on "Madam Secretary," and "Criminal Minds" and she played Kiki as a series regular in the beloved Emmy Award Winning TV series "The Fresh Beat Band," where she received two Imagen Award nominations for Best Actress in a Television Series. She also voiced the role of Phyllis on Disney's "Goldie & Bear," as well as the role of Kiki on Nick Jr's "The Fresh Beat Band of Spies."
Her Broadway and theatrical credits include playing the role of Satine in the 1st Broadway National Tour of "Moulin Rouge," originating the role of Fate in the Broadway cast of the Grammy and 8X Tony Award Winning musical "Hadestown," she played the role of Vanessa in the 1st Broadway National Tour of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "In the Heights" and most recently played the role of Mrs. Wright in the World Premiere of "Real Women Have Curves" at American Repertory Theatre.
As a producer, Yvette is an Executive Producer on the feature film "Hurricanna" (with Holly Hunter, Mark Duplass and Sylvia Hoeks), an Associate Producer on the feature films "Replica" (with Mickey Rourke), "The Curse of La Patasola" and "A Holiday Boyfriend," as well as a Producer on the theatrical sensation "Cambodian Rock Band."
As a singer, recording artist, violinist and composer, Yvette has toured around the globe and performed at prestigious venues like Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall. She has performed with a variety of artists, including Engelbert Humperdinck, Ne-Yo, Jason Mraz, Wyclef Jean, Gaby Moreno, Flor de Toloache, H.E.R., Gloria Estefan, Justin Bieber and All-4-One, among others. Yvette has written, produced and orchestrated original music for a myriad of films, including the feature film "Miss Arizona," "Cactus Flower," and Dan Fogelman's "Life Itself." She composed and orchestrated music for the feature film "Replica," as well as the main theme for the feature film "The Curse of La Patasola." Her music has been heard on a number of commercials and an array of hit TV shows. She produced the acclaimed album "If The Fates Allow: A Hadestown Holiday Album," featuring the cast of the Tony & Grammy Award Winning musical "Hadestown." She was also a performer, arranger and writer on the project. She won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, has been signed to BMG Publishing writing for a number of recording artists and was a part of the EMMY Award Winning TV series "The Fresh Beat Band" (Outstanding Music Direction and Composition). She recently joined forces with the EMMY Award Winning Composing team at Matter Music.
