Thorsten Schade

Thorsten Schade is a German actor, screenwriter and filmmaker, born on October 19, 1966. After finishing school, he studied acting at the Folkwang University in Essen-Werden, Germany. After graduating, he was engaged at various theaters in Germany. He also worked for German television. In 2008 he gave a script and film course at a youth center. During this time, the first three short films were made under his direction. Then, in 2010, Schade wrote, directed and produced the short film "Showtime", genre thriller. His next short film, "The Invitation (Die Einladung)", genre horror, which he also wrote, directed and produced, was made in 2019 and has won 138 awards at international festivals to date. It's a worldwide festival success. In 2022 Schade is working on a feature film version of "The Invitation (Die Einladung)".
