Starting in 1981, as sophomore Radio and Television major at Grambling State University, Bobby Broome booked his first job as a production assistant on the TV movie "Grambling's White Tiger". That was fuse that lit the lifelong desire and passion for film making.
After Graduation in 1983, the journey began upon arrival in Hollywood on January 10, 1984. Bobby Broome has navigated the motion picture industry, starting with working for several commercial and music video production companies as production assistant with Jenkins Covington Newman Rath, Roizman and Associates and Bill White Media to name a few of so many for three years. He transitioned to the camera department and worked for several commercial and music video production companies as First and Second Assistant Camera with Jenkins Covington Newman Rath, Roizman and Associates and Bill White Media to name a few of so many for three years.
Then Bobby Broome built a body of work as an Assistant Camera on long form productions: "Rags to Riches" (1987 and 1988), "Munchies" (1987), "The Wonder Years" (1988 and 1989), "L.A. Bounty" (1989), "Criminal Act" (1989) and "1ST & 10" (1990). Working in the camera department is where Bobby studied intensely every director up close and learned the art of film making.
Bobby Broome put in to practice lessons learned when he started Clean Sweep Productions where he produced directed over 30 music videos and some direct to video productions: "All Pro Sports Football Series" (1996) Segment Director 4 episodes, "A Day with Officer Pete" (1997), Atlantic Starr "Valentine's Day Love Fest" concert (2018) Swim School" (2020 and 2021).
Right now, in 2022 Bobby Broome is producing the re-release of Stay on Point, Producing and Directing "A Holistic Journey: (currently in Production).
