Kevin Rasmussen(I)

Kevin's early start to a career as a cinematographer has given him the ability to navigate a diverse palate of formats and genres; from feature films, TV dramas, to documentaries and commercials, telling stories is always what motivates his work.

There's nothing like the challenge of a difficult project for Kevin, pushing the limits, collaborating with other filmmakers and creating inspiring, moving work is what he truly loves about film and television. With work having aired on a wide range of networks and platforms, including Amazon Prime, CBC, BBC, Discovery ID, National Geographic, TMN, HBO Canada, W, and Lifetime, his body of work continues to grow. His film work has garnered CSC and CSA nominations, and incredibly positive reviews from the likes of Variety and Deadline.

Since he was a teenager Kevin has worked as a camera operator, as well as a colorist and camera assistant for some of the best cinematographers in Canada, and has successfully transitioned into full time work as a cinematographer gaining a reputation as a dependable, calm and talented collaborator on set.

Kevin was born in New Zealand, but has lived in Canada most of his life. He is based in Toronto, Canada, with his family.
