Daniel Jewel is a London-based Director, Writer and Producer. He was Oscar Shortlisted and BIFA Nominated for Best Live Action Short Film with 'Sidney Turtlebaum' starring Derek Jacobi. He also produced the hit play 'Allegiance' at Edinburgh Festival starring Michael Fassbender as Michael Collins. Daniel then Directed a series of short Documentaries for Channel 4 and Current TV. He won Best Director at Rhode Island Film Festival for his short film 'Drone', which stars Ewen Bremner. The film shown at the BFI London Film Festival, broadcast on Channel 4 and screened at the Imperial War Museum in London. His Documentary, 'The Secret World of Foley', filmed at Pinewood Studios, was screened at the BFI London Film Festival, Aspen Shortsfest and was selected as a Vimeo 'Short of the Week'. The film went onto be a viral hit with over 150 Million views online. The film was acquired by the Oscar Film Library. Daniel's debut feature film as Writer/Director, was developed with the BFI / Creative England. His proof of concept short film 'London Arabia' starring Navid Negahban (Homeland, Tehran, Aladdin), won over 30 International Awards and screened at 3 Oscar Qualifying Film Festivals. The Feature version 'Edgware Road' will shoot in 2022. Daniel also Directs Dialogue and Motion Capture for major AAA Games.
