Kent worked at Disneyland as a parade dancer, then the Character Department (he played Peter Pan), Art Department, and Imagineering (he worked on Peter Pan's Flight, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, and the redesign of It's A Small World for Disneyland Paris). He painted a mural of the Peter Pan characters outside the loading area of the Peter Pan ride at Disneyland in Anaheim.
He was a costumer, active in Renaissance Pleasure Faires and Lord of the Ring communities, especially as Strider and Aragorn.
