Ewan is a London-based writer with a varied past as an actor, army officer, venture capitalist and private military operator, specialising in counter-kidnapping, banditry and terrorism.
At nineteen, he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was commissioned into the Scottish infantry regiment, The Royal Highland Fusiliers. He later passed pre-parachute selection, one of the most challenging courses in the British army, and served with The Parachute Regiment for two years.
As a private operator, he's worked on various operations in Ecuador, Colombia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iraq (over Christmas vacation whilst at theatre school), Southern Sudan, the USA and UK. Which helped pay for theatre school at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse, a full-time two-year programme.
