Greg Gutfeld is an American TV personality, comedian, and political commentator. He is most famous for hosting Gutfeld!, a late-night talk show on Fox News, where he covers current events, politics, and pop culture with humor and sarcasm.
Gutfeld is also a co-host on The Five, another popular Fox News show. It was on The Five where his latest joke didn’t quite hit the mark.
On Wednesday, Greg Gutfeld made a strange comment about actor John Krasinski after learning he was named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2024.
During a segment on The Five, Gutfeld unexpectedly referred to Krasinski as “trans,” even though Krasinski is not transgender. Gutfeld said, “Krasinski never talks about it, but he’s, you know, he’s trans,” which left his co-host, Jesse Watters, visibly confused.

Gutfeld has also been a co-host on ‘The Five,’ another popular Fox News program. It’s exactly on ‘The Five’ that his latest joke failed to land correctly.
On Wednesday, Gutfeld made an odd joke about actor John Krasinski after learning he had been named ‘People’ magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2024.

Pete Hegseth, a Fox News host and Army combat veteran, has been nominated by Donald Trump to serve as his secretary of defense.
Trump said in a statement: “Pete has spent his entire life as a Warrior for the Troops, and for the Country. Pete is tough, smart and a true believer in America First. With Pete at the helm, America’s enemies are on notice – Our Military will be Great Again, and America will Never Back Down.”
Hegseth co-hosts Fox & Friends Weekend and joined the network as a contributor in 2014. He last co-hosted the show on Sunday, and his deal with the network ended today, according to Fox News.
Fox News said in a statement: “Pete Hegseth has been an exceptional host on Fox & Friends and Fox Nation and a best-selling author for Fox News Books for nearly a decade. His insights and analysis especially about the military resonated...

In the final weeks of the 2024 campaign cycle, Donald Trump is closing out his bid to voters with a pitch of economic prosperity. At the heart of the former president’s economic message are his claims that his 2017 tax law — the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — brought widespread riches to the average American. But behind the scenes, away from the televised rallies and stump speeches, Trump isn’t hiding the windfall his tax code revisions brought to the wealthiest echelons of the country.

After months of complaining about the crippling burden of high interest rates and expensive borrowing, Republicans for some strange reason don’t seem too happy that the Federal Reserve has moved to do something about it.
On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve announced it is cutting interest rates by half a percentage point. It’s the first cut since 2020 and a long-awaited decrease to historically high interest rates.
“We’re trying to achieve a situation where we restore price stability without the kind of painful increase in unemployment that has come sometimes with this inflation,...

This week Fox News received its marching orders from its favorite viewer: Donald Trump. As the former president attempts to soften his platform on abortion rights — claiming on Monday that he now supports states setting their own laws despite recently floating a national ban — the network is lauding the purported shift away from support for a national ban as the “right” move for Republicans battling post-Roe electoral backlash.
On Tuesday, the Arizona Supreme Court revived an 1864 law that will place a near-total ban on abortion in the state, and...

While many Republicans celebrated the Arizona Supreme Court declaring abortion “illegal” in the state on Tuesday, some of the party’s members who could be at risk of losing reelection in the Grand Canyon state opposed the decision — even if it meant changing their previously stated stance on the issue.
The most prominent was Maga U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake, who criticized the law upheld by the state Supreme Court despite once calling it “great.” Lake also commended presumptive GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s remarks on abortion earlier this week,...

Ronna McDaniel was supposed to be the new star contributor at NBC News. Now her position there is looking increasingly untenable.
NBC News hired the former Republican National Committee chief last week, betting that her recent access to the Trump campaign and Republican politicians would make her a valuable analyst as the 2024 election cycle intensified. But in recent days, her ability to do just that seems unclear. On Monday, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski suggested on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that NBC News reconsider its hire. A day earlier, Chuck Todd took to “Meet The Press” to chastise NBC News bosses for making moderator Kristen Welker conduct a news interview she had previously booked with McDaniel now that she was a paid operative of NBC and potentially less able to respond truthfully to hard questions.
It seems very likely that her position at NBC will remain in the news for the immediate future.

Looking for a safe harbor to promote his presidential campaign during a myriad felony court cases, Donald Trump found his spot Thursday with Larry Kudlow on the Fox Business network.
But it didn’t come without its share of trademark, confusing remarks from the now four-time indicted former president, one of which was met with immediate mockery online.
Trump told host Kudlow that the United States is sitting on more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia, and should be capitalizing on that to lower energy costs for America and strengthen its economic position in the world.
In a very friendly interview that avoided Trump’s multiple federal indictments, Trump said that “Drill, baby, drill” is the first policy he will pursue to improve the U.S. economy if he is elected president in 2024.
While more oil is the answer, renewable resources like solar and wind power are the enemy, Trump told Kudlow.

Fox Business is shutting down “Kennedy,” the nightly program hosted by Lisa Kennedy Montgomery in the 7 p.m. time slot, and replacing it with reruns of Larry Kudlow’s namesake show.
“Kennedy” will air for the last time on Thursday. The show had a seven-month hiatus in 2020, with the network citing “the demands of the evolving pandemic crisis coverage” at the time.
Montgomery, a host since 2015, will remain with Fox, a spokesperson confirmed to TheWrap. The political libertarian has a background in pop culture that includes experience as an MTV VJ, is a frequent panelist on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” and guests on “The Five,” and also has a podcast, “Kennedy Saves the World.” She is currently on a comedy tour with Jimmy Failla of Fox News Radio.

The anchors of Fox Business Network have long delivered the latest business headlines. Now some may be getting ready to debate them, too.
Fox Business is preparing to launch a new discussion program that aims to emulate some of the biggest programing hits in recent years on its sibling, Fox News Channel, where so-called “roundtable” shows have fast become a staple of its schedule. The shows can serve to develop personalities who find themselves leading their own hours within a few years, as has been the case for Greg Gutfeld, who helped launch the late-afternoon program “The Five” and now also leads a late-night program at 11 p.m.

Donald Trump knew his supporters were storming the Capitol last Jan. 6 when he tweeted that Mike Pence lacked “courage,” causing the rioters to “surge,” according to the Jan. 6 committee. The committee also revealed that the Proud Boys, the extremist militia Trump told to “stand back and stand by,” intended to kill Pence during the attack if they had the chance. Some in the crowd chanted for Pence to be hung for his failure to illegally stop the certification of the Electoral College. Upon hearing the news, Trump said Pence “deserved” it.

MsNBC Makes It Official: Jen Psaki To Join Network In Fall, Will Host New Show For Streaming Channel
Jen Psaki will join MSNBC this fall, as the network made the official announcement of her plans following her tenure as White House press secretary.
Psaki will appear across all the network’s programs, and also will have a role on NBC and during MSNBC’s primetime election coverage during the midterms and the 2024 presidential election. MSNBC said that she also is developing a program for the network’s streaming channel.
News of Psaki’s move to MSNBC leaked in April, as she was still press secretary, but she declined to confirm it publicly. She held her last White House press briefing on May 13.
Her move to MSNBC is not unusual, as there has been a revolving door between presidential administrations and cable news gigs. Symone Sanders, who served as chief spokesperson to Vice President Kamala Harris, recently launched an MSNBC weekend show, Symone, that also appears on the network’s Peacock streaming channel.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is in talks to join MSNBC, according to two people familiar with the matter, in a move that would add another Democratic political operative to the NBCUniversal outlet’s growing roster of opinion hosts.
MSNBC declined to make executives available for comment, but Psaki could join the network as soon as the fall, these people suggested, after leaving the White House as early as May, and taking time off to clear any potential ethical roadblocks.
She would presumably follow a path already taken by Symone Sanders, a former Biden campaign aide who is starting a new MSNBC role as a weekend anchor and streaming host on Peacock.

Symone D. Sanders spent a good portion of the past two years of her life touting the accomplishments of the Biden campaign and administration to TV-news personalities. Come Spring, she will be one of those pundits.
MSNBC has hired Sanders, who at age 32 has already worked as a media strategist in two different presidential campaigns and as the senior press spokesperson for U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, to anchor a program that airs on cable during the weekends and on streaming video during some other days of the week. She’s the latest personality to join the NBCUniversal-backed cable-news outlet under a new top executive, Rashida Jones, as executives seek to gain traction in new-media spaces while facing turnover among some of the network’s most familiar personalities.
Going from the vicinity of the White House to a TV-news gig is a well-trod path for prominent White House aides.

John Oliver is taking the growing art collection curated by “Last Week Tonight” on the road.
The late-night host announced Wednesday that three paintings he’s found throughout the past year, including the infamous one depicting what he called “rat erotica,” will be going on tour to five different museums across the U.S. beginning in September. In exchange for hosting the bizarre artistry, each museum will receive $10,000 from HBO and another $10,000 will be donated to a food bank in their area.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, a legal contributor for Fox News, is no longer employed by the network following allegations of sexual harassment.
In a complaint filed on Monday, a 27-year-old Fox News associate producer alleged that Napolitano has “sexually harassed numerous young male employees during his tenure at Fox News.” The plaintiff, whose name is John Fawcett, claims that he reported Napolitano’s misconduct to Fox News’ human resources department but they did not take any immediate action against him.
In a statement to Variety, Fox News said that upon learning of the allegations, the network “immediately investigated the claims and addressed the matter with both parties.” Napolitano has not appeared on air at Fox News for several months.

Fox News revealed Monday that it has parted ways with Judge Andrew Napolitano after multiple accusations of sexual harassment including one from a male staffer at the network.
It is not known exactly when Fox News cut ties with Napolitano, a former New Jersey Superior Court judge who became a legal analyst and frequent on-air personality and host for Fox News beginning in 2006. He was one of the rare Fox News personalities who spoke out against former President Donald Trump during his time in office but has not appeared on air for several months.
The network announced the news in a statement Monday morning responding to a separate lawsuit involving Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow, who was accused of making racist and sexist remarks. The lawsuit’s plaintiff, associate producer John Fawcett, also accused Napolitano of sexual harassment in a 2019 elevator encounter.

Larry Kudlow’s debut on Fox Business Network on Tuesday has generated a lot of attention, and most of it not good due to his expletive-filled big mouth.
