- After spending his formative years lip-syncing in talent shows, tap dancing in dance recitals, and starring in local musicals throughout central Arkansas, Collin was stunned that Hollywood had not yet come calling.
So, after performing in over 30 plays and musicals, earning a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas, enjoying internships with guest artists like Anthony Zerbie, Gregory Hines, Edward James Almos, and Jerry Van Dyke, and performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Collin felt confident enough in his abilities as an actor and dancer to test his talents on the off-Broadway stages of New York.
After spending six months as a stage-hand at the acclaimed off-Broadway house, the "Drama Dept.," Collin found himself performing in "Drama Dept." productions at the Lucille Lortel Theater with Cynthia Nixon, Marisa Tomei and other "Drama Dept." company members.
He began to gain wide-spread attention after securing a handful of national TV commercials. Most noticeable was the commercial campaign "Brains and Beauty" for General Electric, in which he was cast as a nano-technology professor who literally falls into an unlikely love affair with Sports illustrated swim suit cover girl, Yamilla Diaz. Collin quickly relocated to Los Angeles where he has continued his career in front of the camera.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Seth Greenky
