I always wanted to be an actress but when I won an award at the Albeniz Theatre in Madrid for writing my own monologues, I knew I wanted to be in charge, I was 21 years old and I clearly remember the moment i decided i was going to be a film director and act in my own films. That was one of the most empowering moments of my life because i realized I had a passion, a dream to chase and nobody could take that away from me. That day, I got married, to my filmmaking dreams.
