Chad Michael Murray is reflecting on a terrifying hospital experience.

While appearing on the Great Company podcast on Friday (August 8), the 43-year-old Freakier Friday actor opened up about his near-death experience when he was hospitalized as a teenager.

“We had surgery. I had internal bleeding, [and] I lost 50 percent of my blood,” he continued. “I was on my deathbed.”

The 43-year-old One Tree Hill actor, who worked with the 39-year-old star on the 2003 version of Freaky Friday, revealed that he and his wife Sarah Roemer‘s 8-year-old daughter was so excited to meet Lindsay at the premiere of Freakier Friday.

“She just had a moment because she just met Lindsay,” Chad Michael explained to E! News, imitating his daughter’s starstruck expression. “She’s not like that at all.”

The 43-year-old actor and his wife Sarah Roemer brought two of their three children to the premiere on Tuesday (July 22) in Los Angeles.

Their son, born in 2015, and daughter, born 2017, have never had their names disclosed publicly! Sarah and Chad also are parents to a third child, a daughter born in August of 2023.

The Mother of the Bride star sat down with Numéro Netherlands ahead of the release of the Netflix movie and discussed his decades-long career, future projects and how he always puts his family first.

“I would say, a lot of material, especially over the past five to eight years since my son was born, I choose because I think one of the last things you really want is for your kids to be berated in school for what their parents are doing,” Murray told the publication. “I don’t want my kids going to school, being freshmen in high school, and Dad’s butt posted all over their locker.

Paramount Pictures has decided to move its Michael B. Jordan spy thriller “Without Remorse” back two weeks from Sept. 18 to Oct. 2.

Paramount made the move on Wednesday following Sony’s decision to vacate the date for the release of “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” and move the supervillain sequel to June 2021.

Tom Clancy’s “Without Remorse” was first published in 1993 and is an origin story about John Kelly, a Navy Seal who avenges his wife’s murder only to find himself inside a larger conspiracy.

Stefano Sollima is directing the film, which also stars Brett Gelman, Jodie Turner-Smith, Jamie Bell, Jacob Scipio, Jack Kesy, Todd Lasance, Luke Mitchell and Cam Gigandet.
