Ballet dancer, choreographer, and costume designer, mostly with American Ballet Theatre. Usually dances villainous roles in ballet (Carabosse in "The Sleeping Beauty", Von Rothbart in "Swan Lake", etc.). His most often seen role is as the Mouse King (and the drunken guest at the Christmas party) in
Mikhail Baryshnikov's 1977 production of "The Nutcracker".
