Biography

Ryan Phoenix is an American character actor and musician, located in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised on the west side of Cleveland, OH, USA. In high school he played drums in bands. He spent a year in Erie, PA where he took some theater acting classes. He then transferred to Kent State University. At Kent played in rock bands and trained in martial arts. Earned his bachelor in Psychology.

In 2007 his band, The Twilight, signed music licensing contracts out of Los Angeles, CA.

In 2009, he started a band called The Red Buttons. They recorded a couple records and toured the mid west.

In 2010, after twenty five years of performing in bands, touring regionally, and distributing music internationally he decided to pursue film acting. This became his new art medium and passion.

In 2011 he moved to Tremont, a neighborhood in Cleveland, where he met film makers and actors. They invited him to the production set of a Play Station 2 video game trailer to work as a zombie. He fell in love with the role of a character actor and that has been his casting type since then.

In 2019 he earned his second Hollywood stunt credit. Also, worked as a director, producer, and writer for a short film he wrote as a kid.

In 2021 he moved to Los Angeles, CA for the industry, environmental ocean conservation, and philanthropy.
